Jack Stands or timber cribbing are always the way to go. It is weird you just put this video up, last Saturday my neighbor was changing the brakes on his trailer and it fell and pinned him, luckily there were several of us in the neighborhood outside doing work that came to jack it up and get him free. He did not use jack stands just an scissor jack and it rolled over on him. I is pretty bad that you can buy jack stands at HF for about 20 bucks, or borrow a set, now he has a sore leg, did not break anything which is lucky, but a little thought process before and would have saved allot of pain. Good job work safe, and get it done. Thanks for sharing.

He's very lucky to be alive. My father taught me and I was was not allowed to crawl under a vehicle without a jack stand under it. He didn't even like blocks. Said they can crumble. I've a few around here that fell apart when I picked them up.

So how many jack stands did you use?

At least 4 going from memory. Detailed in this video. Along with 2 backup support points.

Geeze I love that it took 45 minutes to leaf blow the driveway! There's a few awesome way to that alot faster 1st way blocks of wood pull forward on them then support with jack stands. Way two a bumper jack on the rear and dead lift. I hate airstreams with torsion axles Crowley suspensions are far superior. If you had just leaf blown first it would have been a quick video

Are you drinking? The video is only 13 minutes long. I couldn't have shown you 45 minutes of leaf blowing. Google has exactly zero results for Crowley Suspension on an Airstream. If they can be fitted it might be worth considering. However, I did the project 2 years ago. Feel free to PM me for my address and you can supply me the Crowley suspension for a dual Axle Airstream I plan to do next. There are as many ways to jack up an Airstream as there are ways to be rude and impolite. I did this one the way I like the best and will do it the next one exactly the way I like. I checked your channel to find your videos on camper jacking and Crowley axles. I got a goose egg for my efforts. No content of any kind. I'll check back every day looking for the axle installation and jacking video.

Way easier way to jack a trailer is use old school ramps pull forward on them. I would never put Jack's Bellow get a 2x4 1/8" wall 4 jack stands under the tongue under the rear chassis! Never put stands under a trailer. Watched a friend do an axle on a much larger trailer 15k in medical bills. Imagine a shop with a two post lift if the vehicle falls off it hits the arms before it drops to the ground.

You must not realize my purpose is to take the axle out. What I did was perfect to my cause. I'm not quite sure how I'd remove the axle with all the weight of the trailer sitting on it. I know, it's weird isn't it?
