Jason killed this one on the Donner DST-152! Here are some notes from him on this video: For this one there was ample live footage to get the fingerings right. As always, there are some judgement calls when it came to certain slides because he seems to play some things slightly on the studio recording than live versions. The best thing about doing a Bon Jovi cover is the opportunity to wear part of a suit.
Awesome, but you should have cut out some stars and scotch taped them over the fret markers and put a star on the upper horn of the strat. Sambora is a fantastic player (not to mention a singer), I think his solo on "Dry County" is probably his best. His first solo album "Stranger in This Town" is really good, too.
Hello, I'm from korea and I'm in the sixth grade.I'm doing "sunfull movement" in career class. I watch your video in guitar academy. Ifind many good guitar songs in your channel. I think your guitar sound, tuning, and tab is very good to hear and see. I hope you to update your video continually! Thank you!
So awesome! Thanks for teaching us songs from beginning to end. Much appreciated. Can you please do some Dokken stuff in the future (I only see Into the Fire on your channel. Would love to learn more from you. George Lynch playing is so unique and stylistic)😊
His stuff on Slippery When Wet is amazing. Every time I listen to "Raise Your Hands", that riff is hardcharging poetry. But then, when he cracks into that amazing solo, with the crazy open string hammer-ons and pulloffs between articulated notes, wide vibrato bends and crazy harmonics... what a talent. The solo on "Let it Rock" is gnarly. And of course, "Wanted Dead or Alive" is a spectacular composition... with another deceptively melodic and tasteful solo.
Great Cover! Can you tell me how did you set the Guitar? I also have Donner DST-152, high quality for the low price, but I have some tuning problems with the whammy bar… thanks!
@Mr.Tabs.Guitar.Lessons Hi Jason - maybe for the Patreon only supporters, would you mind doing an ultra slow and talk through of the weird tap-slide section of the solo.. Pretty please? 🙂
@Synyster07 wow really lol, I'm referring to Ritchie's tone. It definitely sounds like he's using an octave pedal, especially during the solo it very much stands out... Tremolo bar...you wisenheimer you!
Hello Mr. Tabs , do you have some issues with copyright on all yourvideos? Patreon its the way to avoid demonetized videos? i would like to do some project in the future with this type con content
Jason is a master of Randy stuff so it would make sense to do that at some point. I think it's been requested already, so vote it up on the request page: www.mrtabs.com/poll/requests/

Great Tab and Cover Jason! Have you guys ever thought of doing some Def Leppard?
the hat Richie Sambora wore back in the 80s always appealed to me!
Awesome work Jason, keep it up. I'd be appreciate if you guys can please do For Those About To Rock (We Salute You) by AC/DC. ❤ Please. 🙏
brilliant cover - one of my all time fave songs. may i reccommend more bon jovi covers: dry county, bad medicine, and raise your hands
Why did you erase the Donner logo on the headstock?
it got to a point, where I just watch his videos without even learning the tab
REAL
Hahaha me too, but this one I'll try
Same here😂
😂 me too
Makes me want to quit playing lol
2:30 I can play that part flawlessly.
Same bro. Well it took a while. But with practice you can accomplish anything. Including nothing
Bro no way me too !!! Couldn’t believe I was able to on my first try 🙀😻
We're not worthy!
The raised coffee cup part of the lick threw me off for a while. But with the help of the metronome I think I have it about up to speed.
Dude flawlessly? Every time I try I fail miserably 😭
The coffee break 😭🤚🏻
Love the drink part
Cheers!
Just learned this a week ago in less detail and sans solo. What remarkable timing. Great video, as always.

그거 듣기 좋네요! 기타를 들고 이런 고전을 배우는 젊은이들이 있다는 걸 아는 건 정말 좋네요.
그런데, "Sunfull Movement"는 뭐예요? 그것에 대해 더 말해주세요.
Nice job. I played this tune at my first paid gig in Germany, 1987. I hadn't figured out how to do the squealy parts yet. 😀
pinch harmonics. hard but not impossible

Im impressed about how easy this song is... Im not into Bon Jovi, so I never really paid attention to it
I was thinking the same. It's one of those guitar parts that sounds harder than it is. Good to learn to impress mates who can't play 😉
I was waiting for that
