I'm always amazed at how much you stitch along with your family activities. Love the finishes especially the nautical scrapbook one.
There is nothing like the feel of sand between your toes. It sounds like you are enjoy life and stitching some beautiful pieces. ❤️ your scrapbook finish. Yes, I still have to finish some scrape book pages. You are motivating and inspiring!
I've been sick for 3 days and the first flosstube I turned on tonight was yours - what a JOY! Thank you There must be as many shades of blues as there are flowers in mother's garden - all beautiful with your stitching on, love the Bewitched fabric too that you stitched Midnight Watch on.

Stitching parts of patterns has really opened up so many more projects to me! Kim the Contented Needleworker (I think that's the new name) is such a master of this. She picks and chooses parts of patterns all the time and her finishes are so beautiful.
Your latest scrapbook FFO of the blue beach scenes looks great! Cheering you on for finish with your other beach piece! You're almost there👏👏👏. The fabric color you are using for Midnight Watch is awesome. I think it makes the piece look so much better. I enjoyed seeing all of your stitching today. Glad you got in a trip to Salty Yarns😊. I have just bought my little grandson a sand pit for his first birthday and he is loving it, mostly by throwing the sand out onto the grass, lol. Great stitching Laura. X

Thank you Laura for another great video. You always do beautiful stitching and I always love your choice of fabrics. I know what you mean about the humid weather. I lived in Sydney for over 30 years and we got very hot and humid summers. Here in New Zealand much cooler summers which I love. We are currently in winter and it is very mild at the moment. I love your Quaker blooms in the bolder colours, my wife and I are just home from holiday where I was lucky enough to do some scuba diving while my stayed with her feet firmly in the sand on the beach, she doesn't "do" underwater 😊

I LOVE your decision to use Icelandic Blue. I would not have thought to put that project on a blue. Your project just pops! 💙
I really want to stitch summer Quaker (and spring too!) but just not sure when I can start them. In the mean time I’ll watch your progress. 😄 Your finish on resting beach face was so cute. I’ve been saying I’m going to buy it because we are a beach loving family- even the sand! Hopefully soon! 😁Your day with your husband sounds so nice. Hope your herbs do well. Oh Laura, Your midnight watch is fantastic, and a finish is a finish not matter how small, we went to beach last week, I love to feel the sand under my feet, I like to paddle and get my toes wet but I don't swim in the sea.
I stick my toes in the water but that's about it for me!
Just got back from Bethany Beach and loved my toes in the sand !

Hello again Laura, I just love the black cat and moon on the purple fabric, a lot of stitching in the moon and cat, but it might just have to go on my wish list, , I am just making a little fairy garden in an old Belfast sink a friend had gave me, so I need a bag of sand and grit as I am going to plant alpines in it, I have ordered a cute little fairy door from etsy. Catch up with you next week.

I wonder if that pattern would look good on sand? 😊 Double check your top big motif on that summer quaker. I think you are actually further on Hidden Harbor than I am - I have just stayed in the left and am finishing filling in the pinks and purples of the mountains! You can send rain our way, please! We had an inch Sunday. That was it for the past 3 or 4 weeks. The lawn is crispy under foot.
I love your new starts, but I'm being a good girl and working on my full coverage pieces and piecing quilts. I visited an embroidery group, but probably won't go back because of membership fees. Woukd rather buy linen than pay for a group I'll seldom attend. But there are other free ones around, so will see how they are someday. I'd love to get Zoom links or notices any time. You can put me on that list! I prefer weekdays while hubby is at work instead of dumping him when he's at home. Lol. But let me know.❤

Hi from Colorado! So many great finishes and wips! Love the blue ocean finish...what a great pattern!! You should frame the beach one for summertime in your craft room! Beautiful stitch. I liked what you did with the purple fabric for the cat and moon...it pops! I would leave the windows dark so they don't distract from the moon. Great use of the pattern. Love all your blue fabrics...I'm learning some new names. Love your monochromatic wip..wow, just beautiful. Is the theme just different types of travel? Is your favorite count 18? Mine is. Summer quaker...I have the pattern but haven't started yet...it's so great. Are you going to use the fabric color for your water? I am going to omit the mermaid and add more fish on mine. Your camp piece is lovely, congrats on the finish! I love the blue piece that you FFO'd. Your finishing just completes it perfectly for my eye. I'm having lots of fun with Summer Quaker. So far, Spring hasn't called to me as strongly, but that might change at some point. I've been wondering myself if she'll do a Fall or Winter Quaker.. I'd be excited to see what she might do with those two seasons. 🪡👠

I really like those 2022 Good Tidings, these aren't over fussy, the serenade aida is very pretty and a delicate pink, lovely for some valentine smalls. SAND please.
I’m pulling together everything for the Barbara Ana SAL. Our AC went out about 12 hours after the guy was here doing a tuneup on Wednesday. It was over 100 degrees and super humid. I tossed and turned all night so I was tired and cranky at work the next day.
It's always the way, right? AC has to go out at the hottest and most humid time! I hope it's all working now.

I am planning on doing the Blue Dreams chart for the Barbara Ana SAL....I want to challenge myself to NOT use a neutral - looking at maybe a navy or a bright red....I love seeing how you chose fabrics for your charts. Sand is not my favorite part of the beach - my favorite is the soothing sound of the surf!

I grew up in Florida and never went to the beach now. I live in Utah now and there’s places that have sand dunes but it’s not the same without a beach

I'll just watch later, thanks. 😄I grew up in Jersey so I sympathize with you on the muggy weather. Glad to be out of that. I sat here and worked on my Monopoly. Slow going with an injured wrist.

Hello lovely! I just love your channel. You have also inspired my husband and I to move to Delaware in about 3 years when we hit retirement age. How do you like it in Rehobeth? Do you recommend? I just love the beach and have dreamed my whole life of living near it. Grace Notes Fabrics is located in Pennsylvania near Allentown. I actually just spent some stitchy time with the owner Corrin yesterday and I used to work with Corrin’s daughter. They are the most lovely people. Her husband John even stitches!
We really like Delaware and am happy we chose where we did. Besides Rehoboth, there are several lovely places here in Sussex County. Before we even committed to moving here, we rented (actually in Lewes - another lovely place) to decide if we thought we could see ourselves living down here. Obviously we did! I do like the closeness to the beach although I will warn you that in the summer months it is packed!

Might be a good idea to go soon to see just how busy the areas get in the summer. Renting is also a great suggestion. I just can’t imagine moving twice. (We have accumulated a lot of stuff in 30+ years plus all my hobby stuff😱lol). If you wouldn’t mind answering one more question. How are the seasons? I know Delaware is not that far away, but do you get a lot of snow? Thanks for your help. And yes, Corrin and her family are beyond sweet. They are the nicest people ever. Have a lovely day🤗
