I bought the 11.000 4S2P a few weeks ago for the X-maxx. Those also fit nice in there. Flipped the batterij holders upside down and trimmed it a bit and now it holds the lipos perfectly.
Yeah I’ve had mine for well Over a year and bashed them a good bit still does a good job! One thing I’ve done tho is only run them together as an 8s pair
@@DfcRc Unfortunalty i did not have the possibility to use them. I broke my foot begin december and i am still recovering. I am just a few weeks away from being able to walk a decent distance (i hope). Bought them and rebuilded the X-maxx in december as a form of timefiller to being home.... Now i am also trying to fit them in my Limitless v2 for speedrunning :D
These batteries lasted about a year worth of abuse from my end. Lots of concrete landings, crashes, and keeping them charged for more than 2 days (don't do that 😅). They were expensive bout worth it. What gearing and power system do you have on your K8S?
Wow. That's an aggressive gearing. It never worked well for me long term. I have bee sticking to 30/47 and I have been doing better with that particular gearing. I have the XLX2 and 1100kv motor (5687 HW motor). When I was using higher gearing, I was puffing batteries and even the XLX2 released the bullet coming off the board on the battery side. I sent it to Castle and I was told that 30/39 gearing was too aggressive. They saw 500 Amp current draw and insane voltage spikes that they had never seen before 😂. So I went with less aggressive 30/47 on my K8S 😅

Sorry to hear that hopefully be bashing soon!!
@@DfcRc Thank you!
I hope so, than i can make some more video's :D
Would you consider the 8000 too heavy for the Outcast for instance when it comes to stunts etc or no?
Oh no be good to have a deep power supply for when u hit a jump and want to do a trigger pull n get good about of voltage
Man, I wish I could take off work to talk about batteries. Lol
Yeah I recorded this last night!! Haha

Think in the video that’s my father in law’s k8s but I recently got the v2 k8s and I’m working on going 37/39 max5 g2 800kv g2 combo

I just got mine brand new and ghet came with 4.1 v/cell. Îs this normal or should i return them?
That’s after u charged them? And charger set to 4.2v?
No. Sorry for my writing. The battery came with 4.1 v / cell straight out of the box. It was not shipped at storage capacity
@andreimunteanu9029 ahh is it a gtech version? Those u fully charge and they go into storage on their own
