For nearly 50 years the mission of the Trinity Broadcasting Network has remained unchanged: To use every available means to reach as many individuals and families as possible with the life-changing Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Launched in 1973 by Christian television pioneers Paul and Jan Crouch, TBN began as one low-power television station broadcasting a few hours of Christian programming each day to viewers throughout the Los Angeles area. In the years since, TBN has grown into a family of over thirty twenty-four hour global networks reaching every inhabited continent with entertaining, inspirational, and life-changing programming for every family member and demographic. TBN began as a dream to “build a Christian television network that spans the whole world.” Today that dream is reality…and still expanding!

Thank you for airing this on TBN! As a 73-yr. old Caucasian woman, I have never fully understood the impact of what took place on Juneteenth. This was presented with dignity & respect, tracing the history back to the 1800's. It is the will of our Heavenly Father that all races come together in UNITY. Jesus prayed for the church to be in UNITY, just as He & His Heavenly Father were in unity. In my opinion, more should know the significance of "Juneteenth." The mental hospitals that were built to house the former slaves who were so abused that their minds were destroyed is heartbreaking. These people were created in the image of God, just like we all were. One race is NOT superior to another. God sees us all as SOMEONE JESUS DIED FOR. Unity among the races is a must! May we come together in the love of God and work towards that unity.

As a BOI I am proud to hear our story told. When I moved to LA in 1973 as a teenager. I asked some people, what are they going to do for Juneteenth and I was asked, "What's that?" I had no idea other's didn't know.

I shared this because I think everyone should know more. I especially like his statement that there is not enough participation and understanding. People only see what they want to see and I think that is really ignorant and part of America's problem. I'm praying that Jesus will continue to change it. It starts with every one of us. Amen. 🙏💕🙏💕🙏💕😌

This is a beautiful and heartwarming special. Some parts were heartbreaking. It’s history that we all need to know. Christians and Americans should watch this and learn from it. We can never forget the suffering caused by racism and slavery. We need to be like Christ, love like Christ, and live together with all people the way the Bible teaches us to do. I pray for God’s help, healing, and forgiveness in Jesus’ Name.🙏🏽❤

It is unfortunate that a country that prides itself on being established on the ideas of liberty and justice for all had to fight a war to free slaves. It is even worse that so many “Christians” owned slaves and supported the system of chattel slavery. Juneteenth commemorates when slaves in Galveston, TX were made aware that they were free. Thank God for the soldiers, but Juneteenth is about slaves experiencing their freedom 2 1/2 years after they were actually freed.

    How To Celebrate Juneteenth:
Step 1: Remind people that it only exists because a white Union General named Gordon Granger had to go to Galveston Texas on June 19, 1865 to tell the slaves they were free because their racist southern Democrat masters conveniently forgot to tell them about the Emancipation Proclamation that had been made law by Republican President Abraham Lincoln more than 2 years prior on January 1, 1863.
Step 2: Repeat Step 1 as necessary.
