Do you know if they offer bulk buying of chains, for example, and what those prices are? I know gold is pretty much the same price worldwide, so their prices would be very interesting to know. Gold in the States is around $2,544.00 per ounce 24k writing this message.
They do offer bulk buying of chains. I am not sure what the prices are for wholesale/bulk. I just know on the weekends when they are doing B2C business, the chain price per gram is really close if not market price at the time of sale plus a premium that the shop adds which is roughly 1 USD per gram. Could be negotiated down depending on how many grams you are buying at once. So for example my friend bought a 5 gram 24k gold bar. The price that day on the screen is the price he paid plus 8rmb per gram processing fee that the shop charged him. It is a way better deal than buying gold from a chain jewerly store here as their premiums are around 16 bucks per gram. I hope this answers your questions please feel free to let me know if there is anything else you are needing to know.
@@ShenzhenEats Thanks for your in depth response, however, that wouldn’t work for me. I am getting into the jewelry business, so I would need to purchase gold less than market. You mentioned on the weekends, they charge 8 rmb on top of market prices. In my case, we would also have to calculate shipping and duties. I believe Italy has a better offering in terms of gold where the government has a subsidy for exportation that the buyer can take advantage of. Thanks for your time.
@@Delitewon You are welcome, the wholesale rates could be better, I just don't know since I am not in the business. I can only speak on the retail side. Let me ask some of the shops I know and see if they could help provide me a better knowledge on wholesale rates. That is cool that the Italian government offers subsidies.
Crazy how big it is and how busy it was too!
