    There is a Hammered Dulcimer similar to this popular in Eastern Europe. I can't remember the name of it though but it looks just like the Santur. The Chinese version, the Yangqin is also popular in Russia

I am a volunteer with ArtMax Academy and I've heard tons of positive things from the students who purchase their instrument from there. ArtMax is a non-profit organization based out of Portland, OR so getting an instrument to you in the Bay Area should be rather simple. Best of luck!

    The Greek sandouri is much bigger. This really reminds me of Persia!
