One of your best ever! The soul of the song comes out in your amazing touch. This is one of my favorite slower U2 songs and your arrangement is the most original.
One of my Favs. Great work doing this on acoustic. It works and sounds amazing. This is one of those rare songs for me that is more then a song it’s a time and a place I can’t describe but it takes me there every time
Larry Mullen JR hey Larry Loved the tour this year Seen every tour since 81 17 gigs In all. Would love to see you tour unforgettable fire which I think is even better than the J tree. Thanks for a lifetime of great music
@euginis correct. you can get the pup that goes with the guitar seperatly for 100 bucks called the ESgo i bought it but i dont really like it at all. its noisy and doesnt sound as full as a mic. In the vid its a beta57 I used. i usually would use a condensor but had to go with this because i have it running into my M13 and the condensor needs phantom power so i settled for this mic.
pff it gave me the chills, great. yeah, I would love to have that backing track also. In case you would share it ofc. I would only use it for my personal jams.
@giovannibrunoro I like a fast rate maybe 80% and then start the depth at 0 and slowly up it until it gets that sound too much and it will get all warble like too little and there wont be much modulation.
it's more ore less one month than i'm obsessed by hearthland(since j've watched again your "electric" cover)!....this is Awesome Mick, great sound!...just a curiosity Mick....is it the same BPM(109,412 ms) of rattle & hum or it's a little bit faster? ciao!
I keep coming back to this for years now - absolutely brilliant. One of the most underrated U2 songs. I love the R&H album
One of my favorites from this era. Beautifully played. Everything was spot on.
So relaxing. Heartland has always made my hair stand on end. Great cover. Nicely done.
One of my all time favorite U2 songs. You do a great job of capturing the vibe and mojo of the song.
How beautiful is this! Always a highlight in the Rattle and Hum film, Edge sliding on his backside down the motorway verge.

Super!
Contrary to other posts, never been one of my favorites. It may be now.
🇧🇷 ?
wouldn't adding a delay to the guitar kinda defeat the purpose of being called "acoustic"?
10 years later, I realize what a shitty little comment this was. This sounds great!
