Saw this once when I was like 4 or 5 but only caught bits and pieces because my older cousins were watching it. Been trying to find out wtf it was for decades.
Dam such a good movie, was only around 5 years old when I watched it never seen it since but its stuck in my head
This came out the same year as Off The Mark with Terry Farrell. And this is also the last movie of 1987.
I remember renting this movie twice because I liked it so much - I was 10 at the time. Don't really remember anything from it, other than that puppet.
Never watched the movie, but had the poster up on my wall, used to have nightmares over this bloody poster!! 😂😂
After seeing this trailer what the hell happened to Roland Emmerich? All he does anymore only disaster movies. This and making contact make double check if they're directed by him because felt like after his adaptation of Godzilla it was all down hill from there.
This one must have bombed hard back in '87 because I have NEVER heard of this movie, never seen it at any video rental store, never heard anyone mention it nor has it been featured on any late night horror host type show, absolutely zero! People still remember that God awful Garbage Pail Kids movie, Solar Babies and even the ultra shitty Nukie but not this one, it must be a real turd.

Sorry to burst your bubble there but I can guarantee and assure you.
Back when this classic came out it was ignored shoved aside like many other great brilliant real true family classics.
You never heard of this turd because it wasn't giving the chance it was intended to get.
At a time it was on video and I think eventually then onto Dvd.
Ghost Chase is and guarantee 💯 over many times 💯 and always will be one off those ry well made brilliant fantastic great films.
Ghost Chase like Munchie and Munchie strikes Again when made to many was flops.
Flops because they didn't get what they should have got when they was first released.
Yes they floped to many and was a disappointment.
That's to many people and many nations but not all nations of all ages and sertinlay not all Adults and Children.
I'm one of the many fans of this great brilliant fantastic family entertainment film that has it all everything to make it a film for all time.
And like many other fantastic great brilliant films didn't get what was intended for them when they first came out.
I was born 89 this movie cam out 2 years b4 I was born and I remember watching this classic at the age of 6 I ask a lot of ppl if they have herd of it and not a lot of ppl has watched it witch is a shame it was way ahead of it time
I saw this back on vhs when it came out. The front cover stood out like a sore thumb, the yoda lookalike lol
