I need a larger touring board such as this to ocassionally carry one of my kids on a longer flat water paddle. But also want something I can ocassionally surf. Is the 11'3" Sport surfable? Has anyone tried it?

Hi there. Thanks for your message. The Sport 11'3 is perfect for flat water paddling but will definitely catch small surf. Although designed more for touring, the thinner 4.75" rail will definitely make a difference in its overall responsiveness on a wave.

Which would you recommend for a lightweight small rider (5'5") and flat as well as slightly choppy waters/winds. The 11" or the wider 11"3 Sport?

Thanks for watching and the question Andrea. At 5'5 you height is better suited to the 11ft, yet the 11ft3 does offer more glide as well as a lot more stability particularly in more challenging conditions. You are welcome to give us a call instore so we can discuss this in more detail. We also have both of these boards available for demo instore. We'd be happy to have a video call if that helps.
