I remember when Alive III came out and KISS did a promo tour having dinner with fans who won it on radio stations. So me, my brother and my sister (all classic KISS fans) won and when I brought my lunchbox to Paul and Gene to sign, the first thing Gene said is., "Does it have there thermos?"
I'm most impressed with the great kiss off banner. That was up on the wall in Woodfield mall in Schaumburg Illinois in 1974. Very rare because there was only one and J5 has it.
Where 'ya been fellas?! Being a 7th grader in 1977, I coveted a Kiss lunch box, but my NFL helmet lunch box was still in good shape....you know most parents couldn't justify buying a new one. Had to settle for my two t-shirts and the spiral notebooks and magazines. Always looked for the School Scholastic book drive list for anything Kiss related. Always fondly remember a 9th grade girl rocker as I proudly was carrying my Alive II around school say "Alive II sucks the rod"! So hilarious in retrospect.
The funny thing about those high school yearbooks is they can be goldmines. I grew up in Chicago and 20 years ago I was dating a woman who claimed that Styx played her high school prom. I laughed it off and she showed me her high school yearbook from 1975 with pictures of Styx playing the prom! That was before Tommy Shaw was in the band so it was John Kerluski or whatever. That was right around the time they had their first hit "LADY".

From the research I was able to do. Great Rock Artists Volume 1&2 are a Best Of Rolling Stones that was released as 2 separate volumes. Can’t find any other info on what was released in that series otherwise. Since Jason had mentioned of what other artists might be in that series
That wasn’t the artist. That was a crazy fan that wrote his name on every piece in his collection. He’s a lunatic. That’s why I didn’t want him mentioned.
