Thanks for the video! I'm from America and myself and some friends are headed up to Toronto here in a few weeks to do some fishing. We are starting in Toronto and then road tripping further north. We don't have a boat so its going to be a lot of shore fishing. Really appreciate you showing how its done.
Hey the little guys are still better than the skunk. Cant wait for the season to open again. Great video, been waiting for some new uploads. Top notch production value as always.
If you get the chance to go back down to the scarborough bluffs, try at the opening where the boats come in, you weren't far off from where you were to the spot. Also, if you haven't already and get the chance, try the mouth of the Rouge River, at the end of Lawrence Ave east. Love your videos man! Keep em coming!
Two things that really helped my cold water pike fishing were switching to flouro leaders with no swivels, uni knot to the braid and whatever knot you want to the lure. The second was really slowing down my retrieve, like painfully slow at times. 15-30 second pauses wouldnt be out of line.
Sick video! Love the music you time it well. The video angles are in point as well. And you're not boring, very entertaining to watch and learn from. Hopefully I learn to fish asap!
Hey, i think i met you about a year back at the bluffs. You were nice to me and gave me tips on how to locate em. You wouldn't remember me i wouldn't think. But thanks for being a nice guy. I am now a little more experienced thanks to guys like you.
Sorry I don't exactly recall but sure I'll take the credit. Lol. I'm glad you're doing better for fishing! Keep on fishing there is always something g to learn.
hey man, sick video! I am about to take a fishing trip to toronto and was wandering if maybe you could tell me where some of these places are that you are catching these fish? If not its cool, but it would be sick if you would.
Reel Canadian Lunker Hunter thanks. I think I'm over ice and going to get ready for some open water! I hope you get some great last ice action bud. Tight lines
Thanks Anthony. Yup. This was shot in Toronto. Lots of fishable water along the water front. Specially this was shot down at the Harbourfront and in Scarborough.
You are so educational I go to bluffs a lot but never have any luck but I am also pretty new to fishing, Have you tried fishing near the bridge to enter the yacht club but its almost always packed. Definitely subbing to you :) as they say tight lines or something like that! haha
It really depends on how sexy the spot looks. If it looks like it has a lot of potential, I'll stick around longer. If I have previously caught fish in that area, I'll stay longer.
3 yrs later, and your videos are still legendary...
6 years later! lol
One of the best videos and very informative which helped me get started on fishing.
Condolences to the family and friends of Kevin.
R.i.P Kevin.

Solid advise Benjamin! I'm too impatient for such long pauses. If I don't sting a fish quick enough, I move on. lol

R.I.P Kevin miss our talks and all your amazing videos.

Thanks. I did try a couple casts there but it didn't yield anything. There is a reason why it is always packed there though ;)
How long do you stay in a spot before you move? Sorry just trying to learn
It really depends on how sexy the spot looks. If it looks like it has a lot of potential, I'll stick around longer. If I have previously caught fish in that area, I'll stay longer.

Garbage city but great video as always! Thanks Sir Kev the Slayer!

Nice clickbait
Just loud stupid music
What is that horrible "music" there for dude? Really annoying.
