As much as I'm not a Blessing CEO fan, I must say I see where she was coming from in that video with that particular advice. Whether or not we agree with Blessing, truth is that her advice didn't come from a bitter or bad place. See all these Lagos Island Internet babes know themselves back to back from what I can see online. I didn't know who Vicky James was till her wedding cos of all the controversies surrounding her and her husband plus her display at the wedding. I later got to see some of her designs, and BOY OH BOY, that lady is maaaad talented at her craft to say the least. What Blessing said that I agree with is that people now know Vicky James more with controversy rather than her talent which she has a ton of, making the controversies louder than her craft. Like it or not, that is not a good thing for a Designer of that caliber. Vicky James' skill is world class, no cap. If Vicky had access to all the diamond embellishments, her designs can stand toe to toe with Alexandra McQueen. When Vicky James pops online, people should be greeted with tons of jaw dropping designs and not controversies with her and her marriage. Globally a Creative is respected more when the world knows more of his/her works than his/her personal life.
That said, I will add that if what she's doing with her husband online satisfies them both, then by all means they should keep doing it.

Actually, when I see their videos, I feel second-hand embarrassment for them straight away. It's so cringy and embarrassing, it feels like they're trying really hard to present a certain image of their marriage, which isn't necessary. When I watch their couple videos too, I don't feel peppered, I just think "...so what was the point of this?" Anyway, my husband and I are both introverted, so maybe that's why the way they act for the camera seems like hard work to me. Las las, if they're truly happy behind the camera, that is what really matters - From a happily married, unpeppered 28-year-old 😋
