Nice selection but you'll have to feel shrimp to maintain the red color. Also better to add stones, lava stones maybe to enhance the look. Don't add substrates
I'm already feeding shrimp and prawns. And I have also mentioned that in the diet part. This is a temporary setup for them. I have said that too in the video.

It's not about the looks it's about the space. If possible try to watch the full video what I have said in the setup part. We don't have spacious aquariums with thousands of liters of water like western public aquariums. We already have a limited space so why to make the space more less. Having a bare bottom tank is always recommended by experienced fish keepers for big growing fish and also monster keepers. Have a look at the huge monster tanks in thailand shops, they are all bare bottom. Also as I have said in the video this is a temporary setup I'll be making a new setup for them soon. Then I'll try to do some hardscape.

That happens due to less feeding or improper feeding and less tank space. Otherwise I've seen big size oscars doing good if these things are taken care of.

Oh now I got it. Actually this thing is there in goldfish and kois. I have seen many people keeping small size goldfish for years but either the goldfish size is growing slow or it's not growing at all. So it's maybe because of the goldfish bloodline. But I've not seen this in Oscars. Oscars grow quickly be it local bred or imported doesn't matter.
