I really like this boat, thanks for the video. At the moment we have a Key West CC with all the family options and dual 300 yammies. 26 Footer. We love taking it up and down the Gulf Coast, but its an open boat so weather or multi day trips can suck and waste money on hotels. After watching this, I think I could sell our boat and look at something like this and spend WEEKS out on the Gulf. Very nice boat and a great review. I love going fast on my Key West, but Im at the age where this is looking more my style and speed. Plus the wife wouldnt complain about me jumping swells and soaking us, very nice boat, very good review. I might straight up go look at one
5 or 6 people for the weekend? Really nice boat...but come on...there is literally one bed. The table folds down and you can add the other cushion but your at three people max for a weekend. And used 2016's are going for around $150k. Used 2023 are over 200k. Don't let them get you with Brand New for around $160k.
I'm not necessarily a fan of Ranger Tugs but the underlying concept in your comment seems to be that a minor length increase doesn't justify a significant price increase, which in my humble opinion is just a bad analysis. Typically small length increases associated with large price hikes are due to larger volume. On top of the fact that there are other dimensions to consider; width and height, you generally will find substantial increases in the volume of the superstructure and hull. Furthermore, in the 27ft model you'll find a halfway-dignified version of the coffin-like "cabin" outlined at 4:34. It's still compact, but at least it wouldn't make your guests think you hate them with a passion. This is the troll who bought a used Ranger R27 sight unseen and didn't get a survey. Turns out the boat has obvious hull damage and he thinks Ranger should fix it.
@@FINfinFINfinFINfin, yeah always, always get a survey on a used boat!!! Otherwise you're just taking the word from a seller invested in dumping their problem into your lap.

Nice boat, didn't see or hear about a shower in the head. Video seemed rushed, could have shown the under sole storage in the cockpit. Jarring sound volume increase at end of the video, most unexpected and not appreciated!
I like the older tugs, this layout is pleasing for nonboaters imo
Very nice boat
It sure is!
Beautiful boat!
There is so much going on on that vessel!
Nice boat
That is a sweet boat!!! Cool video also!
There is a lot going on... Thanks
Cool boat
and great value
Very impressive!

Is this the 2020 model?
2024 this same boat is now over 200k.
Have you priced many boats this year
The price of poker has gone up
Lightly used 2010 models are 80k, which is the way I am going
Is there room on the roof to place solar panels?
It comes with a small one (160W) standard - I'm sure you could fit more
Yes looked at one today and it had 2 large ones, sorry the wattage escapes me

In canada, it's $269,000
How does the battery charge? Does it charge when the engines are on?
Depending on the equipment it could be a combination of charging while underway, onboard chargers off of shore power and solar.

Just imagine, for extra 60 grand ,you get 2 more feet . A 27 footer .

@@NoGoodHandlesComingToMind , I would assume alot of upgraded features as well, fuel tank and so on

how much does the R25 weigh?
5600lbs dry weight
159k affordable ? 😁
Yes.
Nearly perfect love it
Any idea of the fuel consumption at different RPM settings? Seems a bit underpowered at 38 mph flat out.
It is a cruiser by definition.... so not the priority by most customers.....
@@Billonthewater So you don't know? So how do you know it goes 38 mph tops?
@@solarfry It can go 38MPH that's how he knows, turns out there are dumb questions. Let's go Brandon
Could you see if you could do a video of a Ranger Tug being built at the plant ? I think it would be interesting .
I am a east coast guy but if yo can have some one fly me out I would love too....

The video is 2020
Thus 2020 price
Teak, not pine. 28.6' not 25'
Unfortunately now almost 3 years later, much more than $154k msrp, you’re over $200k now
I don’t think it’s any different from any other manufacturer to be honest
You may want to learn the difference between the cockpit and the cabin.
I will work on it
Affordable🤣🤣🤣
Do you know details on the hull construction ? I have been asking for details from the plant . It must be a secret .
Sorry I do not this is a West Coast boat builder...... and I do not have that information
rangertugs.com has some information. Seems like the dealer would know more
