I watch every episode you drop and really enjoy. That suggests you are very good at what you do. Your enthusiasm pours through. I am a Victorian and if I get to Wang, I’d love to meet you and buy you and Holly a coffee. Cheers Ian
Bugger those leeches, Robbie, lol…. I hate them too. That was a real Bear Grills adventure coming down to the creek. Man against bush! Great video mate and some lovely trout taboot.
Great day on the water Robbie I use to do a lot of Bush Bash fishing and had a ball and caught lots of fish over the years but these days I do it the easy way at 74 I think I've earned it

I’ve been down in the dumps for a little while and haven’t gotten out fishing, recently I’ve been feeling better (with a lot of hard work) and this video has made me more determined than ever to catch my first trout. I can’t thank you enough for the videos you make Robbie! You are truely an inspiration!
Hi mate, thank you so much for your kind words. I really hope that you are OK. I have spent plenty of time battling the black dog myself over the last 20 years, and know just how bad it is. There were times when I wanted to end it all, but I am so thankful now that I didn't. I really hope that you are OK and can get out fishing soon..
Haha thanks Tubby. I did make a random find in this area around 25 years ago, maybe a bit longer. It wasn't a lost pilot though. In fact it was more of a "plant based" find if you know what I mean. LOL
Bootful at the start, have you heard of Fly n Dry Hardsole Extended Boot, they have a neoprene extension onto the top of the boot (and a neoprene insole for comfort and warmth). I got the size 11, I'm 6'2" and they come right up to just below the knee, also they fit neatly so you trouser leg can hang over and shed any rain or splashed water from getting in the top. And they are made in Oz.

Thank you so much James. You are 100% correct. I was only thinking this a few days ago. As I get older this is more important. I must pull my finger out. Thanks for the heads up.

Hey Robbie, instead of the headstraps for the camera have you considered the BerleyPro action camera hat? I find it to be more comfortable and I don't get headaches with it like I did with the headstrap, will also solve the stretch problem!
Robbie your becoming a regular Indiana Jones, that was rough country. A torrent of water must of gone through that creek considering the flattened grass along the banks. Lure colours is always a point of contention. Our scientific friends tell us that out of all the colours in the spectrum the blue colour is the one that fish best identify.
Well done Robbie that really was a fantastic video, with some nice catches. It’s not easy bashing your way through the bush like that, i used to do it too years ago, as well as climbing up and down cliffs to fish the rocks around Batemans Bay! I was up around 150 kilos in them days and way out of condition, but I loved it! Now at 92 kilos with health issues I’m living vicariously thru your videos the excitement i had all those years ago. Thanks mate keep it up, for the both of us 👍🏼❤️

Just curious what type of DJI action camera you use, because I am looking to find some extra batteries for mine but don't know where to find them. I have a DJI action 2 but cant find these spare batteries which you have. Keep up the good work mate.
Thanks James. I have a DJI 2 here, but most of my filming now is on my DJI action 3. They're both good cameras. They have identical settings, but the 3 has interchangeable batteries whereas the 2 doesn't which is a real pain. The 2 I can put under water for release footage without getting water on the microphones and making the audio bad. The 2 is easier to use with a lav mic because I don't have to pull any doors off my camera. If I could only have 1, it would be the action 3 though because of the interchangeable batteries.
