I wouldn't mind at all if Dave dropped Dread and the Fugitive Mind from the setlist going forward for Kick the Chair as the regular deep cut. DATFM is a fine song, but it's been a staple since 2020, and I think it's time to have a new "deep cut" be the setlist regular.
Finally, the old fart decided to diversify the standard Megadeth setlist, which has already pissed everyone off, with something from the 2000s. The system has failed 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
He was firing on all cylinders at that time. He'd recovered from his injury, got his guitar chops back, assembled a new band, put out a new record and launched Gigantour. Not to mention the remixing & remastering of the catalog (which I think was a questionable choice). Megadeth could have and should have died after The World Needs A Hero, but he really picked it up and turned it around. Sad to see the state of the band nowadays.
