Thanks to you I now have two ignite wigs, one in PSB and one in Martini. My natural hair is a very short pixie cut as it is so thick and wavy. On the days I’m feeling girlie I put a wig on, especially for nights out when I’m all dressed up. It gives me confidence and I feel more feminine. Thanks for all your great advice. We love you here in the UK !
Hey Jill. I am wearing my first wig to work tomorrow due to severe thinning. Its a new job, so going in fresh. Its the Jon Renau Drew in Malibu Blond. I had it cut extensively and love it except for the dark knots. I am a little stressed. Any more tips? Can I use regular hairspray? I don’t have the special spray for wigs. Its just one spot that is a dark line at my scalp and I am trying brow powder and special banging, but its just not blurring. Ugh! Wish JR didn’t do this on the lace front rooted wigs! I know you referred Drew a long time ago, but I think I missed the follow-up. Thanks for all you do to give us the courage to go out there. I hope I don’t chicken out!
To me bashing a company is different than just telling the truth. You are so up front and honest, I'm sure it helps a lot af people from making mistakes. Just be honest about that wig ( like you usually are.)

I have very thick hair but the alopecia that I have moves my hairline back from ear to ear. I have to wear a wig because I’m lacking hair in those areas but the hair I have left is very thick. Noriko Sky was the first wig that made me feel like me. Most wigs had too little hair so I think it depends on the type of hair loss you have. I finally found a 30% off sale and got my Ignite in shaded Praline. It does not look as good on me as It does on you, But it definitely makes for a totally different look and I love it. I also got Raquel Welch in a shaded biscuit. Because of your input, I found that they are very similar to the light blonde in Tony Brattin's wig, which was my first wig. I have very thin hair and this has been a tremendous lifesaver for me. Thank you for your videos ❣️ I'm sure I will be buying many more when I find those sales! It looks pretty good for a 70 year old effort lol. I would post a picture but I don't think I know how on this forum. Now I need more help with the makeup!

Yay! Wig Wednesday! Do you have an opinion about Paula Young wigs? I've noticed they are so much cheaper. I will be wearing for fun since I have plenty of hair. I did lose my hair after an illness a few years ago and it was devastating. Thank goodness it grew back.

Ignite is you! I loved mine as well. Since I am a daily wearer my only complaint is how the fibers at the neckline breakdown. I love heat friendly fibers in how they look, but they're not practical for a budget unfortunately. I'm with you, I hope they come out with a new fiber that's less shiny and more durable! These wigs are so beautiful, but I just can’t see myself spending $300 for synthetic. What is the difference between these synthetic fibers vs. ones I can get at Sam’s beauty for 25/50 bucks? Synthetics usually last me 2 - 3 months, if I wear it every day. Do these synthetic fibers last longer?
You are right about shaded cappuccino by Raquel Welch. I have top billing and I love it. I would definitely get anothe Raquel Welch's in that color. Do you recommend a similar color from John Renau. I want the top secret top, but I don't know what color to pick....maybe shaded mocha...can you help me?

Judi Dunham I store them in their original boxes. ;). I do keep the ones (maybe two) out on drying stands that I wear the most so they don’t get box hair. I do try and rotate ... so they don’t get box hair.

I loved my Reese in chocolate frost R many compliments on the color, but I felt like I had a helmet on and did not want anyone to touch it. The black band was not comfortable and couldn't wait to take it off. The style was so cute, so I just dealt with it. I gave it to charity.
I love the colour of Reese. I have never worn a wig but want too. What would you suggest in another brand with similar colour and look please. You suggest if it’s first wig don’t buy it. I want something just like it.

I like watching your videos, they always help me to learn more about wigs. Thank you for this one. I have been looking at Ignite for a while and this helped me make up my mind about getting it. It looks so good on you. I love the color and it does not look as dense as some wigs. My face is kind of small and most wigs overwhelm it. I will try this one and hope it works out.
My 2 favorite wigs of 2019 are Night by Ellen Wille and Deena by Estetica. Night stock photo wins for worse photo of the year, it's awful. The actual wig is a super cute very loose curl with perfectly falling layers around the face.

I love Reese , but I got sky fordi its so BIG and I lost my hair..... I had LONG big hair, dark. I lost it due to being sick in 2018 - then it grew back, and my hair was soft like baby hair...always been like that. Then I lost it again last October and it becamse SEEThrough ....and I felt horrible, my hair looked like it was burnt HAY. I kept cuttign it off until it grew back now, but its stick thick and dont feel like mine - neither do my body - gained TONS og weigh - 45% of my body over 6 months. And to get Sky as my firsti tme wig from store was a shock..its HUGE and yellow...as it doesnt seem to be many more ashy tones aside from grey in wigs....Anyway I got wigs in grey and cool blond - and iced browns....and will receive them next week

I would bypass wigs on Amazon and I love Amazon, just not for wigs. Alot of people have been "had" buying wigs there. For a reputable wig store with lower prices try Paula Young and/or The Wig Company.

Oh wow Carol, $250 or below! You can get LOTS of very, very great wigs for that! Just look for the sales. Reputable stores are always running 30% off sales on different brands at different times. Here are a few that I use, Jill can give you others she uses but I bet she uses some of the same ones I do. Look up Beauty Nook, owner LeAnne Thompson. I buy almost all of mine there and she does a live sale on FB every Friday night so you can see styles and colors on a person. She will beat anyone's price. Wigstudio1 is another, they are great. Cysterwigs is another good one. Patti's Pearl's. Patti is awesome and has lots of videos on TH-cam. Love her. These are small wig shops and I have bought from them all. They give small business customer service which I love!Love helping out small businesses!!! These are all small

Marjie NS816 I use IT STAYS adhesive in the front area, and a low ponytail in the back to secure the back from slipping up. A subscriber recommended sewing in a little comb in the nape to secure it back there. I want to try that!

Cheryl Kitchen in general hand tied caps are warmer... dang it. The open machine wefted caps do allow some ventilation.

I loved my Reese in chocolate frost R many compliments on the color, but I felt like I had a helmet on and did not want anyone to touch it. The black band was not comfortable and couldn't wait to take it off. The style was so cute, so I just dealt with it. I gave it to charity.
I love the colour of Reese. I have never worn a wig but want too. What would you suggest in another brand with similar colour and look please. You suggest if it’s first wig don’t buy it. I want something just like it.

Hello Jill, I love the color on this wig and I am going to do more research on this color because I want a lighter wig without golden or yellow tones:) I am with you I totally go for comfort now, that is my new motto lol. The circumference of my head is 23” and it’s difficult to find cute wigs that fit. I really want to try a Raquel Welch wig but I’m concerned it won’t fit.

I like watching your videos, they always help me to learn more about wigs. Thank you for this one. I have been looking at Ignite for a while and this helped me make up my mind about getting it. It looks so good on you. I love the color and it does not look as dense as some wigs. My face is kind of small and most wigs overwhelm it. I will try this one and hope it works out.

My 2 favorite wigs of 2019 are Night by Ellen Wille and Deena by Estetica. Night stock photo wins for worse photo of the year, it's awful. The actual wig is a super cute very loose curl with perfectly falling layers around the face.
I love Night also and another EW that I am wearing right now, Mimosa. I LOVE her and reach for her alot!

I love Reese , but I got sky fordi its so BIG and I lost my hair..... I had LONG big hair, dark. I lost it due to being sick in 2018 - then it grew back, and my hair was soft like baby hair...always been like that. Then I lost it again last October and it becamse SEEThrough ....and I felt horrible, my hair looked like it was burnt HAY. I kept cuttign it off until it grew back now, but its stick thick and dont feel like mine - neither do my body - gained TONS og weigh - 45% of my body over 6 months. And to get Sky as my firsti tme wig from store was a shock..its HUGE and yellow...as it doesnt seem to be many more ashy tones aside from grey in wigs....Anyway I got wigs in grey and cool blond - and iced browns....and will receive them next week

Brendarenée Green they are all synthetic HD (heat friendly fiber) except REESE is NOT heat friendly. I do not own any human hair wigs.

I would bypass wigs on Amazon and I love Amazon, just not for wigs. Alot of people have been "had" buying wigs there. For a reputable wig store with lower prices try Paula Young and/or The Wig Company.

Oh wow Carol, $250 or below! You can get LOTS of very, very great wigs for that! Just look for the sales. Reputable stores are always running 30% off sales on different brands at different times. Here are a few that I use, Jill can give you others she uses but I bet she uses some of the same ones I do.

Look up Beauty Nook, owner LeAnne Thompson. I buy almost all of mine there and she does a live sale on FB every Friday night so you can see styles and colors on a person. She will beat anyone's price.

Marjie NS816 I use IT STAYS adhesive in the front area, and a low ponytail in the back to secure the back from slipping up. A subscriber recommended sewing in a little comb in the nape to secure it back there. I want to try that!
