Buy on Amazon: amzn.to/44cqzqK Bluewave also make a more stable kayak: amzn.to/46OgG4n I love this kayak, and it's far better than any of the other kayaks I've owned over the years.
Basically the same as my full drop stitch story division kayak . I agree with everything you mention , I also really love how well the story Glides and tracks effortlessly .
Great review . Beware those 'brass' seat clips! They are soft metal with a surface coating-if you expose them to sea water they will be seized solid soon after. Cut them off and replace with stainless caribiners. Replace the stock skeg with a 4" replacement and it will turn sweetly.
Enjoyed your review - we bought the tandem version 2nd hand. Really easy to inflate and quite fast indeed. Stability indeed takes a bit of time to get used to:-)
I had the Glider but at 6ft3 I really struggled with the balance. I capsized 3 times on my first out getting in and out. I destroyed my camera in the process. I really like to take my camera out with me and just decided it was far too risky in that kayak. So I bought a hybrid Story 2 Ranger in a sale for £480 and can take my camera out with confidence. There's no way I would have taken my new Sony RX10 in the old Glider and taken this footage. th-cam.com/video/C8bfyPk7Xu8/w-d-xo.html Yes, it is a little slower but I'd say there isn't any big difference in tracking. Those rucksack style bags can now be bought as accessories from Story and I think Bluewave too, they're obviously in demand as they're always out of stock. 🙄
Yes, I'm tall too and it did take a bit of getting used to, knowing exactly where the tipping point was etc, esp when getting in and out. I don't use the seat cushion and that helps to keep the balance.

Yup, full dropstitch all the way for me, the Glider is light years ahead of my old inflatable low-pressure kayaks.
Many thanks for this profound review!
That Dog is just soooo Cute! Great video

Yes it does, my first attempt at getting in was eventful. Best inflatable I've ever had.
Interesting vid'.... I'm sure this kayak is sold under different brand names. I have the Fohn Adventure and I reckon it's the same.

You tried the Aquaglide brand? - it's just i could part ex something against one.
Never tried that brand, sorry can't comment but I love my Glider, have used it loads of times, so quick to setup and put away.
