I love how over the years, Phinehas have just kept improving their sound, not changing it. They're such a solid band that makes great music time and time again
I really hope this band becomes huge and headlines every major festival

It's so refreshing just to see a bassist in the hardcore scene that doesn't play his bass down at his knees.
these guys are legit, the nicest guys ever. the bassist came and sat with me and my friends for the longest time. and when my ride was there for me i gave my friends hugs and i reached out for a hand shake and he was like "no, i want a hug man" and i was like sweeeeeet haha no but for reals these guys are chilll ;p

I got to see them live at a festival and was so amazed at the insane guitar playing/screaming/pure talent. I got to meet the singer afterwards and got an autograph ^_^ He is really cool and sweet :)

Man, I miss this style of metalcore. Back when guitar riffs were cool and not just open strings all the time. And vocalists that can do both screaming and singing excellently instead of having 2-3 dudes half-assing the vocals.

+Danny Zabolotny its been this way for like 15 years man, this genre of music has an abundance of mediocre artists with gems hidden throughout. i was saying this when i first found phinehas. i mean look at parkway drive. Great band, got recognition after 4 amazing albums lolol
yondaimesin Pretty sure Parkway Drive were playing big shows and being pretty popular after their second album Horizons. Sure they're bigger now, but they were by no means small back then. Whereas I saw Phinehas a year ago playing to like a dozen kids in some crappy venue.
you should check out Counting Days! They don't have any cleans, but they have pretty heavy instrumentals! :)

Hellcreature36 Check out Silent Planet as well. Excellent band, though less heavy and more atmospheric/proggy.
Awesome, then you might like Prepared Like a Bride as well, though they basically formed, did an EP and an album, then split. :P Still excellent material though.
Also, outside of the metalcore scene, if you like prog metal, check out Theocracy. Phinehas and Theocracy are tied as my favorite bands right now lol
