By far one of the best interpretations found on the internet. I think Piazzolla would approve with applause. Thank you for the inspiration, from Argentina.
Brilliant. I'm not a fan of bandoneon, Piazzolla's instrument, but there are several really good transcriptions of his compositions for the classical guitar. This is one of them. Antonis is an outstanding guitarist, by the way.
Right! I just found this out a couple weeks ago when I saw a video interview of Roberto Aussel, who asked Piazzolla to compose something for guitar. The story is quite interesting. Aussel let Piazzolla hear some recordings, and one of them was of Walton's Bagatelle, particularly the Cubana. Piazzolla got quite excited when he heard it, and he even said, "That's me!" The notable Piazzolla transcriptions include Las 4 Estaciones Portenas, especially Verano Porteno. My favorite performance of this is the Benitez transcription played by John Williams. 🙂@@antonio_rioseco
Fantastic! Where did you find the manuscript? I've found a free scan online to compare the Berben edition with, however it's missing Compadre? Is it in a library? Thanks a lot, and awesome performance again!

This piece is for solo guitar, is not a transcription; is a five set of pieces written for solo guitar by Piazzolla...

Favoloso!..😊🤙
Antonis es un intérprete habitual de la música de Astor Piazzolla individualmente o con su conjunto. Siempre con gran calidad .

Thank you Oliver for your kind words! It was given to me by a friend but I am sure it circulates online. I doubt you will find it in a library.
Καταπληκτικος!!
Que versión es esa?
Hello Jonathan, it is based on the manuscript with few changes.
