At what month did you finally start locking around your edges because that’s where I’m experiencing unraveling as well. I’m approaching 2 months on the 28th and they all seem good except the perimeters. Any tips as to what you did is greatly appreciated!!! Your videos are the reason behind me starting my journey on my twa as well 🥰
I just started my locs two weeks ago and my entire nape area unraveled, but I know why I went to crazy with misting my hair. I need to find a butter to moisturize my hair and not use so much liquid until I’m fully loc.
You are so encouraging. I’m following your journey mine are the same length and I’m so discouraged because I feel like they are growing slow . Not confident enough to go outside with them yet without a scarf
Thank you! I definitely feel you . I had to take baby steps at first wearing mine out. Accessorizing helps me out a lot by wearing earrings, low tension headbands, or maybe just laying my edges a little . Sometimes these starter Locs be having me looking crazy and i do put a scarf on but i just remind myself that it’s only temporary. They are growing even if you can’t tell! 🌱

Yeah I realized when i mist my hair i can’t touch it at all until it’s completely dry . Touching it while wet causes more frizz for me .😭
I’m about to get to my 2 month retwist next week. You have me super excited now about that movement.
