Somthing Witty Basically in the game Super Fire Pro Wrestling Special the main character wants to become the greatest wrestler. But as he climbs to the top he found that everybody he knows, love and respect are gone. His mentor died of mysterious cause. His partner (who is the Undertaker) is murder right in front of him in the ring. His idol (who is Ric Flair) pretty much is the one responsible for murdering his partner AND mentor just to fuck with the main character. And his girlfriend left him. In the end he beat Ric Flair and became the world champion, but lost so many people in his life that he is essentially alone. And then, he shot himself in the end. . . . All this in a fucking SNES game. It manages to somehow top that harsh game over screen for Friday the 13th in terms of downer endings.
For anyone who can't work out why Woolie and Mat kinda suck at this, it's because IT'S NOT A BUTTON MASHER, IT'S THE OPPOSITE. Woolie and Mat are mashing the buttons (they even say it in the video), when the entire game is about pressing the buttons ONCE at the precise right time

When fighters get into grappling range, they automatically grapple. As soon as their arms touch one another, you gotta do a command for a move (directional + a button), the fastest player to input the command does the move. If they both do it at the same time, they go into a button mashing competition. That's it, it's really not that complicated.
It's kind of amazing that guys who've spent 100's of hours learning learning to nuances of frame data and tier shit... Can't understand "Wait until hands connect to press button"
I really hope this game gets more people into it, the small community it has deserves more. Whether your a player, creator or match maker this is where you can make some dream matches with existent and or non existent people, if your thinking about getting this game its in early access now on steam now for 20$ don't wait for the price to go up its well worth the money! FatCastro The original Fire Pro games did not have a dedicated pinning button though. You had to know which of your strikes, running/counter, grapples, ground, or avalanche moves could cause a pin.

remember, when they say indisposed, they REALLY mean that Woolie and Matt are conducting an arcane mystical ritual to resurrect the currently dead Pat. Pat unfortunately died when he forgot he owned a cat and Elmo murdered him in his sleep because he accidently forgot to turn Elmo's fountain on. Thankfully, Woolie's Grandma Swamp is well versed in resurrecting the dead so they should be able to get him back soon. Unfortunately, she still hasnt solved the cursed placed on Woolie and Matt from the Scrublords tournament so they have to take their time.
