I recently left my full-time job to start a small art business. Art has always been a passion of mine, but I was unable to pursue it formally due to my parents' objections. Now that I've saved up, I'm taking a leap of faith and turning my dream into a reality. While I'm nervous about leaving a stable income and starting from scratch, I'm determined to follow my heart. I understand that there will be challenges, but I'm ready to learn and grow. Thank you for your videos and advice, Paperkoa! (૭ 。•̀ ᵕ •́。 )૭
@@pennpeel8 Yayay congrats on starting your small art business! It’ll definitely come with a lot of challenges, but it’s extremely fulfilling and rewarding to be able to do what you love! Wishing you all the best 💕
I just came back from your page and whattt you're just a pro! No way nothing like a noob you really are talented so taking the risk by left your full time job for starting you artbiz now is just a brilliant! I'm rooting for your success✨👊🏻
@@teenateen8463 aaaa thank you so much for your kind words! That seriously means a lot 🥹🩵 Knowing there are people like you cheering me on makes it all feel so special 🫂💖 I still have a long way to go, but I’ll keep learning and improving 🫶🏻🥹
Sounds to me like your success is pretty amazing (and absolutely deserved!). I launched my shop last week and am just hoping for my first sale. Thanky you for giving advice to others, thats very precious!
It is so inspiring to see "small" Creators who have successful business talk about their experience. I started selling my crocheted keychains a month back and it can be so easy to lose motivation. There are so many things going on in my mind regarding the prices, quality, if i am doing enough, if it is even worth it. Thank you for this video! It showed me that i shouldn't try to start from the peak of others. I need to do the work and reach my own peak and that isn't impossible
Small business (jewelry edition!) here - your pieces are so adorable! I've been making jewelry for a year+ now, and I've only made $200ish in that time, though all of those have been friends commissions. Hopefully I can take your advice accordingly! ❤😅 Happy crafting everyone, and just remember, practice makes perfect ❤!!

@@robzombie69 I personally find that relying on Etsy to market my art is not enough 😣 Only 10% of my sales come from Etsy and I bring in the rest of the sales from my social media accounts. I want to start my needle felting small business but then I'm afraid if I charge acording to the value, i won't get customers due to the time it takes, which is very long 😐 but i will try.
@@xsnowxx Another option is to offer your art at different price points. You can try coming up with some easier designs that you can sell at an affordable price. Then charge a premium price for more complex pieces. Best of luck with your needle felting business 💗
