I’m also working a 9-5 (more like 9-6 or even 7 sometimes ahhaa) and am looking to start an art business, but all the bigger TH-camrs’ achievements seem so intimidating and impossible to achieve, so this is what I love to see :D excited to see your channel grow!

I started with Etsy since they have their own SEO which helped with driving sales directly to my shop without relying solely on other platforms to promote my shop. :) Although Etsy does take a cut of your sales, it is cheaper to set up your shop in comparison to other options out there. It's great for someone like me who doesn't have a huge budget to start a business. Shopify is perfect if you seek customization for your business with great website templates to choose from to make your shop extra unique! Biggest downfall as small creator/business owner is that you need to promote your business on social media or other means to drive traffic to your shop since that is where most people will find you. Shopify also charges you a monthly subscription to have your website running so definitely keep that in mind when comparing to your profits and how much it costs to have your website and storefront on Shopify. So sorry this is a lengthy read but I hope this helps in weighing your options! Please let us know when you have your shop going - I would love to see! 🥰
