You’re bang on with the car scene… with bikes it’s the mutual respect for getting one, regardless of size and just going out and enjoying it.
Been tryna find a good group to ride with so might come out your way.
Keep up the content mate 💪🏼
Hello from the USA, watching this because I like to see all types of content whether local or abroad.
You're not wrong about the title, iv'e recently gained a little friend group from riding its amazing to just get out with friends. Just got back from stoney cove and it was so good 😁
That’s so sick man Stoney cove is a vibe as well
@@RR.FUSION it really is mate, will deffo be going again!
@@xZenoRidesi go stoney cove too it’s only 10 minutes from me,i’ll look out for your bike 👍🏻
@@thisisformydogz Thats cool! Must be nice being so close by. 👌
You know Gixxr Brah is tuning in to watch the UK bois 😅
11:00 - It's always been an uphill struggle as a British motovlogger for sure. Back in the day in peak motovlogging era a friend of mine, OfficialSmo, tried to take his channel full time for a little over a year after getting made redundant. His content was great, well produced, funny, he had a cool bike in a Street Triple R, but he was still getting a fraction of the subs and views that the American boys were pulling just by riding sportsbikes in a straight line on freeways. It was really frustrating to watch, and ultimately he had to give up and go back to doing it as a hobby alongside working a normal job.
It's not impossible, but it's definitely a slog here compared to other locations, and especially to be starting now instead of previously when the genre was bigger.
The scene used to be very small 10-15 years ago, didn't it? I have M13 as a mate and he's struggled since the new lot of motovloggers have come in (plus since his accident and divorce).
It's now very flashy and well produced, but I feel something of the real world of riding is missing, that's why I like this channel, it's just a dude going through the whole process of becoming a seasoned biker, like we all did back in the day.
The yanks just get a 1000cc bike, ride it with no license, insurance or plates, and everyone suddenly thinks they are cool and legit, whereas they are just inspiring a heck of a lot of young riders to kill themselves trying to do what they do (no names mentioned Max Wrist)
@@Drobium77 Yeah for sure, everyone knew everyone back then. I'm the same with the flashiness too, like I prefer a simpler, what would now be considered 'old school vlog' rather than some highly produced thing with drones and 360 cameras.
The rise of short format stuff is just another barrier to decent vlogs too, because everyone's favouring tiktok and insta, although as both of those are now shadow-banning or just outright banning for motorcycle content, it might start to push people back to longer videos over here with a bit of luck.
@@TheSpectre223 i hope so matey, there is only so much " my life sucks so I might as well die fast on a bike, at least i'll die happy" videos we all can take
Uk bike content vs USA content. America is a much more flamboyant loud country. So when they see uk content much more conservative then their own it’s just not that exciting. Forget the actual difference in bikes (they have things like turbo Busas for fun whereas your lucky to see one in your whole life in the uk) but their creators are just much more fun and especially much more fun to watch. They have cools guys like FastLaneD and 650ib. Both these guys are not posting actual footage that would get them knicked in the uk BUT we tune in because we’d rather watch a real life Dominic Toretto then mr bean. And the crazy thing is all the coolest uk bike guys I know are not interested in creating content 🫣
But yeah brilliant debate that. I’ve been thinking it over in my head for years. Even my wife said to me once who is the uk fastLaneD and all I could say was there isn’t one 😂
Sadly enough you are right about the American content buy its annoying because as someone who is doing there mod 2 in two weeks most bike reviews or tips on buying first time bikes are from Americans who don't sit a 4 part test to get a licence then tell you to start on a ktm 390
Legit mate haha
Not sure i agree about the views, i have a very small channel, and i know the content is different, and that probably affects it. But most of my viewers are American. I think it's more to do with the bike and the creator that gets the views.
I can't wait to just cruise around on a quiet evening.
Where about in uk I am Cambridgeshire need to find meets
did the dislike for you, interesting to see if they actually tell you
Na they don’t tell you cheers for doing it though 😂 I guess people can’t handle seeing the truth 🏃🏽♂️😂
You can see like vs dislikes in analytics on youtube studio, but ive never seen any dislike appear on the video 😂
@@RR.FUSION Yeah no problem 😂 Tbh it’s so cool seeing someone ride the same roads as me. Keep up the great content lad
Done 😂👎
Cheers bro 😂🤟🏾
@@RR.FUSION anytime 😂
IDK, the American scene is all about flagrantly breaking the law and "fuck the police!" and all that silly stuff. They have the room over there to be able to do 190 mph for 30 miles straight, they also have a weird thing where the police don't really bother that much about lack of plates or insurance etc.
I mean, yes it looks glamourous, but can you imagine sitting there for 40 miles without anything to do and not even a corner? Over here we have great roads and scenery everywhere, the majority of urban America is very bland.
Over here the biking world is much more together and less clicky than the yanks's world, we stick together as bikers and don't split into groups as much.
