Drums sound mint! Any adivce for a better sound?
For me, first thing I do is to make sure my drums are tuned very very well before recording. Second is mic placement. I measure drum mics on each drum head 3 fingers apart. Over head mics 2 to 3 feet. The third thing is making sure you gain stage each drum mic. Make sure the volume is enough to where is doesn’t distort on your Daw. Fourth once you check everything then you record your drums. After recording, Mix your drums. I typically use Cubase or Logic Pro X to mix drums
