Childhood memories are always the sweetest and I have always like to express that into music. Of all the great moments I have experienced, the memories of my mother’s story telling has left the deepest and most lasting impression.
Another one would be the nightly time spend outside in the garden where she would show me different constellations and it is always accompanied by songs and stories. In this song “小时候 “, I used the text by Tang dynasty poet that my mother used to sing to me to begin this journey down a bitter sweet memory lane.
