I got myself a wireless Wahl colorful clipper just in case of a future lockdown or if I don't have enough money I can do my own. It is a rechargeable but didn't came with a charger so ordered a charger for it.
Yeah at the back there are some patches here and there but it's not easily noticeable. It's not even half bad, good job! Just need to keep practicing. I order this clipper to cut my own hair as well. Let's see how it goes.
as a beginner u should fade down. section off the top of your head. take a #3 straight up ( dont follow the shape of your head).. then use the 2 to taper the nape and sideburn
I admire you for trying to do this yourself! I think it looks good for your first try and the fact that you did it on video! I want to try to cut the back of mine but not nearly as short as you cut yours!
Your haircut came out better than mine .. being 1st DIY .. also that knocking noise happens when the blade underneath the metal guard shifts .. it actually won’t cut hair ... same thing happen to me .. so What I did , took two screws .. Phillips screwdriver ..re adjust both blade and guard .. brush and oil both blades I mentioned screw tight again both Phillips screws then on the side of clipper u will see plastic flat head screw .. before u tighten turn on clipper and tighten till it stops making knocking noise and try it .. will cut even better
Don't worry about sounds when you turn it on! This is because of the switching of the electromagnets .... AND it has its power in this! ONLY these hair clippers are good! The small electric motors with axles are not worth a hat shit. You have chosen a good machine!
Great video and you did a fantastic job for your first time. I'm considering getting this clipper. During the pandemic I've started cutting my own hair and not doing to badly had a few compliments 😄 I find using the clippers downward, unless necessary, you have more control
I think you did a great job!. I'm 66 my barber a woman passed away after 25 years. She did beautiful work. I think you did a great job. Not a fan of the colored hair but you are making it work!! Recommendation-Instead of using the clippers in the back to give you an edge use a good safety razor I am a Gillette guy, Not the disposable, Use a mirror and like drawing a on paper. Thanks! Getting ready to try my first self cut!!
i know this video is old but you did a REALLY good job!! I just started buzzing my own hair and you inspired to keep going with it! your fade came out so good i hope i can get there too..i tried but no luck yet it always seems to come out the same lol
You done really well apart from one little bit at the back so for 1st attempt its great 👌 The clippers def sound faulty to me. I will be doing my hair soon for the first time as soon as i can get the clippers!
Wish you'd included the first blade oiling part. I have a brand new, fully charged Color Pro. The blade guard says to oil first, but no instructions on how to do it.
Sitting home in quarantine and watching tutorials on how to cut your hair. You did a great job and hopefully when I do mine next week, I won't end up looking like Sinead O'Connor! (I have a lumpy head!) Lol! Got to go find my winter hats just in case! Lol! Great job!
@@CelesteM Thanks! Well, I did it yesterday and it turned out ok. I had my neighbor clean up the back of my head cause I can't see without my glasses. Lol. I still have some hair on top left but I don't think I'm going to keep it because the rest of my head feels awesome. Woooohoooo! My thought is this, who said that men can only have short or have a bald head? 🤔 Society has so many "rules" and I've never been one to follow them rules and I'm too old to start now! 😉😂😂 I'm definitely doing this again, it feels awesome. Have a great weekend! 🙂
Great job, thanks for this video. I'm in Coronavirus stay home mode. Bought the Wahl Color Pro and will try to give myself a fake U.S. Marine cut...real short. LOL
Also a suggestion would be, get someone to help you with cutting your back hair. I am only a beginner at this and I can get it to be not patchy when I cut my kids hair
Thanks! I've done it a few more times since this and I have gotten a lot better about the patchiness. I'm still working on the fade part but I think I'm improving there too. It definitely seems like it would be easier on someone else's head!
I bought the pro plus it looks the same but ima try it on my husband later 👀👀👀😅😅. Lol but your hair looks awesome dude . I want to have short hair like you but I will keep thinking about it lol
that noise is its new and you got no oil on the blades yet really bad for them doing that with no oil that noise is the motor straining to move the blades
first of all there not called guids there called gards 2nd of all the clippers make that noise because they are notifying you when its on !!!!!!!3rd of all your machine turns of because you need to cleen the blade and its not oil its clipper oil for your info
Jacob Grajeda vlogs alright mr picky, #1 they’re (not there) #2guides (not guids) #3 guards (not gards) #4 off (not of) #5 clean (not cleen) #6 she is well aware that the clippers make a noise when they are on, she is pointing out the fact that they fluctuate between quiet and loud whilst they are running #7 when doing a video about clippers it’s pretty obvious she is talking about clipper oil and not about crude, olive, vegetable, or any other form of oil.
@@CelesteM I did not have to even look at your profile or videos to know you are gay. Your man haircut says it all. You are a woman because you are not a man. No matter what you fools say you will never change that even with your sex change operation
@@mikecaldwell8417 I'm pretty sure to be gay I would have to be attracted to my same gender, which I'm not. Best of luck.

you are very honest, I like your honesty. Pls dont give up on trying new things. you did an amazing job for the first time. Cheers
Thanks so much, I really appreciate that!
I think you made great job love the coloured part on side.
For your first time, doesn't look bad just keep add it, you'll get better over time, i started like that too 20 years later I'm a master at it Lol
Bravo 😊 you did a great job I love it 🥰
When my clippers made that rattling noise, I would use a flat head screw driver and adjust the screw that holds the blades together. Great job!!
Thank you! I won't know for sure till I use them again but I think that helped!
beautiful hair color and useful sharing

Celeste M dont curve at the curve of your head. follow through like a golf swing or basketball shot. go straight up and it will taper
i have a vid demonstrating it . called basic haircut tutorial. its the section with the 5 guard
Cody the Barber Awesome, thank you! I'll check it out.
I think overall you did a great job! Well Done.
Looks great
WOW! FANTASTIC JOB! did you use a mirror behind you? i want to cut my own hair but am chickenshit.
I did! You can probably see it somewhere in the video.

keep doing it yourself...looks fine...
Thank you!
I was going to say the same thing. It looks okay for a beginner.
Oil the blades before use and also adjust screw. Oil on top and both sides use small brush to spread oil. TH-cam it

Hey Celeste, your final result actually looks quite good, considering you did this for the first time. I ordered a Wahl clipper myself, today.
You need to add lube to the blades. Thats why you hear the difference in noise.
great job mama! try it again and you'll be surprise at what you perform
It looks pretty good to me

Hi..I use a flobee. It connects to the vacuum cleaner. It works really well.
The adjustment screw needs to be tightened
Thanks, that did the trick!
Celeste M Your welcome. I have one myself. Now we can save money and or give other discount haircuts.LOL
Practice makes perfect 👌
Your hair is beautiful and colors right on!!

La mía hace ruido cuando aflojo el tornillo de a lado, pero Corta mejor. Y si no hace ruido jala el cabello. Es algo natural de esa máquina?

You have to tighten the power screw on the side
Which would give a better cut, the color pro or the chrome pro??
Black Shark good question. You really made me think.
Same clippers i got...and mine was a piece of trash as well

please help me,,,its support 220v or no? see package or machine label thanks
great job and cool Hair
Hi jon home jamie thanks
What is the total weight of the set with the suitcase?
Cool hair!! Keep practicing watch more TH-cam fade vidz!

Don't be so hard on yourself!
You gotta oil them things
You did a professional job
You work damn too good for one video 👍👍👍👍
Adjust the screw
Nice job
It turns off and on because it overheats
clipper is pretty loud
heh its hard to cut your own hair xD I kinda don't have another choice so I do snip a few inches off every now and then
What's up? Why should something be up??
celeste you havent even shown what you look like before, i mean before being anncouned as nonbionary, before 2016
I've posted lots on IG!
#pixiechallenge, in thisCOVID 19 social distancing.. I have make it too .... it's really great! ^ - ^ I'm not alone

You're pretty rude for someone who doesn't know basic spelling and grammar.
Omg😂😂😂 yeah the grammer killed me... lol are you sure she didn't mean vegetable oil!? 😂😂😂
