Calligraphy and handwriting is definitely an art. I love drawing illustrations, painting fantasy scenes in acrylic. Love sculpting, metal smithing, 3D modeling, designing, and wood carving. I've done signs and I hate type, handwriting. I've lettered and did airbrush work on vehicles. I just don't enjoy it. You do some great work! It's just an art that I don't enjoy doing myself.

My dad loves to do arabic calligraphy! He makes like.. arabic words that is shaped on a horse, arabic words falling from a glass cup, its so beautiful!

Honestly I love he videos and I love calligraphy but my siblings make fun of me for liking to do it. I am thinking of opening a TH-cam channel for calligraphy but I don't have enough courage . Please I need encouragement from everyone in this comment section
I have terrible handwriting, but (to be momentarily immodest) I'm quite good at drawing and painting. Ironically, if I'm painting a subject that features writing, logos and such, I can paint it just fine. But writing those same words on a piece of paper with a pen, it's nearly illegible. Think it's a matter of scale.
