I like this, your interperetation is pretty interesting, I agree for the most part except for the final message, personally I think it's more about saving yourself instead of waiting for someone to save you, mostly because in the lyrics there are "waiting on a lonely star" which probably means he's waiting to meet someone who will save him from his darkness and then there are mentions of the day getting faint in right before the chorus's which is hope being lost but then when the other kid saves him (which is also himself, all the characters represent himself btw because they are his zingai [eve lore stuff, basically the manifestation of your heart]) when the other kid saves him its him snapping out of his suicide attempt, and then it says "night is getting faint" which is hope of living being regained or his suicidal thoughts being lifted and in the end he saves himself (also the pills might be anti depressants or something to keep his demon away, because that is his shadow [a type of zingai that manifests from the negative feelings in your heart]) Edit: also their names are Akame (the main character) Kumo (his shadow) and Zukin (his other zingai) you can find them on zemyata's twitter (the animator of this MV)
Personally for me the ending is kind of bittersweet with how it mirrors the start hinting that this is not the first and most likely not the last time he has gone through this struggle.
