This version doesn’t exist. The glass shrimp continued dying. Now I just grow common cherry shrimp outdoors year round. I’ve shown the ponds in other videos, I can’t really remember which ones, most likely an update/ walk around video.
They didn’t last the winter. I’ve tried multiple batches of these shrimp outdoors here in Victoria. No luck. This year I’m trying regular cherry shrimp.
@@Ozponds I got my glass shrimp from the Yarra river. Haven’t tried them in an outside tank but if they can live in the Yarra then I imagine they would go ok. Good luck.
How aggressive are they? Do they eat fish fry or their own young?
I don’t think so. The long armed, they are aggressive.
@@Ozponds the long armed are different species right?
@@WhiteCloudAffinity correct 👍
Can we get an update on your shrimp pond❤❤

Also tip the water out through the net, then you have all the shrimp in the net!
That would be better. But Cause I was recording...I only had one hand.
Why wouldn’t you just sit the bag of shrimp in the pond? Seems like along way of introducing them to the pond.
That works well for matching the temperature of the waters but not the pH. That’s why I use the drip it will adjust the pH slowly.
how are they going now?
