Bold and Beautiful Purple Marble Cake | Easy and Clean Gold Stenciling | Triangle Floral Arrangement

- In this tutorial I show you how I achieved this amazing bold marbling with gold veining. I also show you my preferred method to add a gold stencil cleanly to fondant. No airbrushing needed!! Amazing as usual. What did you add on the stencil Before you added the gold luster dust , is it pearl luster dust ? Thank you.
I brushed on Everclear and then used gold luster dust;) You can use shortening instead if the alcohol, but it rubs off pretty easy.

Howcome acetate sheet did not smudge the gold leaves
The leave dry completely because the everclear evaporates and leave just the gold color behind. I do handle it carefully also. If it does smudge, you can clean it up with a q tip Dipped in everclear. It has happened to me:(

It is a clear alcohol. You can also use Vodka or lemon extract;)

Hi there! Dowels aren’t needed for cakes covered in chocolate ganache?
They are, but these cakes have been used quite a bit, and they are pretty firm. I reuse the cakes for filming for less waste;)

Beautiful! I love this so much! Do you mix any shortening into your Satin Ice Fondant? I tried to use some that came in the small packets but it was so elephant skin like. If you ever do any hands on classes for fondant, I would LOVE to take a class. I am just in Waterloo so it's not that far.
Neighbor!! Almost;) Yes, I do add shortening for that very reason. I don't have in person classes at this point because of time constraints. But I am working on an online course. It may take some time to finish for the same reason, but filming has begun!
