- It's time for a comparison!
One of our most popular questions: "What's the difference between the Diamond C and PJ Trailers?"
Well, there's no easy answer for that! There's so many different features to consider on each model. We put these two trailers side by side to compare differences, and hope that this shows them off, apples to apples!

You do a very good job comparing the trailers. keep these comparison videos coming. They really do make a difference.
1:38 spare tires, hydraulic tool box opening.. GO WITH DIAMOND... DIAMOND sound nice
The FMAX trailer is without equal.
I have had three PJ trailers and will never buy another one. One had junk brakes from new. One had missaligned axels and destroyed two tires within a month or so. They didn't stand behind any of it. The PJ paint system is junk. I have a 2016 32' gooseneck that is totally rusted away. I paid extra for priming but I don't think they did it. I plan on getting a Diamond C. I think they are worth the extra money.
Shoutout to Happy Trailers over at Powderly Tx. I bought a 40’ Dovetail PJ trailer 10K dual axles back in 2018. Great trailer no issues just keep up with your maintenance routine and you be ok and also upgrade to 14 ply or 16 ply tires. Diamond C also have really great trailers as well.
That's awesome to hear! Glad that your trailer is still doing great 5 years later. Come by to see us sometime, we'd love to catch up!
What’s the price on the same diamond c trailer setup you show but in a 32 or 34 ft length vs the 40 and what’s the max gvwr you and plate it with the overage allowance as well as the dry weight
Hey Billy! We currently have a 32' Diamond C with the hydraulic dovetail in stock. It is on 10k axles with a GVWR of 25,000 lbs. The empty weight of the trailer is 8,000 lbs, giving it a payload of 17,000 lbs. It's priced at $25,199. If you want to check it out, we have it posted on our website www.happytrailers.com and you can search for stock #285759. Thanks!
Guys in here need to look at Southland. Extremely well built.
Southland are just now popular because of dirt monkey. They rust out like crazy. Had a couple of them and the boys absolutely hated them. Diamond C is the best in the business.
@@FightingFishTv Diamond C are too heavy, and too expensive.
What kind trailer would you recommend for towing 7000lbs forklift? Thanks
Speaking from experience, a tilt trailer is the easiest way to load up a forklift! I would recommend the T6 model from PJ Trailers or the HDT from Diamond C!
PJ done copied Diamond C whole design 🤣🤣🤣 That PJ will be a rust bucket in less that a year. Look at the rust already on the winch plate. I own a PJ and wish I would've gotten Diamond C
Well they really didn't copy the design, but I agree, it won't look good for long
I think something else to talk about when looking at two comparable trailers like you have here is how much each trailer weighs and available payload.
It’s literally one of the most important comparisons, but always forgotten.
@@ChaseLandMgmt yes sir, he did cover it in his other video.
PJ copy's everything that Diamond C does, 1 pc. neck fold up step. I own 2 Diamond C trailers and l think there the best.
Both will do the job, but the pj is just cheaply copying everything diamond does.
Those DC trailers are expensive, but without equal as far as I've seen.
Best dealership around! Appreciate the breakdown Leroy!! 🔥🔥💪🏽💪🏽🫡🫡
Thanks for the support man! More to come 🔥
