Hi Gemma, some fantastic choices there, especially the brown dresses.
The denim jacket gave an edge, to some of the dresses too xxxxx
I notice that I see clothing hanging in the store and to me they look frumpy. But you have an eye for how nice they will look when put on. How can we train ourselves to overcome this? It’s one reason I have gotten stuck on only buying online where I can see the item on a person. I need lessons!
Terrific video Gemma. I love M&S, I do not know which store you visited but all of the stores within 50 miles of me have none of these pieces in.
M & S needs to definitely up their game at a lot of their stores.
I love Marks & Spencer, consistent sizing and really good quality. The dresses you have chosen are superb choices, let’s hope the weather improves to wear and enjoy them xx

My local very large M&S doesn't have any of these clothes. Im usually disappointed with Marks but your store looks great with so much choice.

You look quite tall and it all suits you. When you are shorter your choices are much more limited.
plus us older ladies don't like to bare our upper arms
I like the column dress with 3/4 sleeves.
It's a fab dress
I loved everthing except for the denim jacket. I've never been a fan and I dont think they do dresses any justice. I would prefer to see a Chanel inspired cardigan or the cropped trench in its place.Much classier and still on trend.

I have found that sequins and lace get ripped when sliding in and out of a car as well.
Beautiful collection Gemma, unfortunately and as usual everything I would like to have bought for myself was out of stock. M&S really are hopeless at predicting what their customer really want to wear. That looks like a very nice branch, my nearest one never has the good stuff and looks like a jumble sale.

You look gorgeous in everything you tried! Simple, elegant, and beautiful! It’s been nearly 30 years since I visited the UK (I’m from Ohio in the US), and I fell in love with Marks and Spencer. It’s a beautiful store!
The other thing I hate is lining that only comes to the knee on a maxi dress making it look cheap. A shame because I love the white lace dress.
I bought a replica of a Chanel brooch for $20 to compare materials etc. The real brooch cost $800 and was made of the exact same materials - brass, synthetic pearls, glass. 🤦🏻♀ The other one is a $40 one *yutulu* Backpack Replica - also works for Compare - I can't find any difference and still use it for the gym 😅
It would be useful to point out which styles would not turn up like the crochet dress, which styles fit tighter on the waist or hips for people who are not tall and slim.
