I'm grateful for my friend doing a go fund me for me. I'm housebound and could not get about very well due to my disability. She raised enough to get the electric wheelchair I needed. She noticed I was selling my belongings to raise money, so she did the go fund me. I'm forever grateful ♥
That's a great friend!
Aww what a special friend you have been blessed with. I’m so pleased you are able to get about , some independence is so important for your quality of life. 😊xx
Some people are rude, inconsiderate and have no respect. We are all entitled to our points of view and if those meanies slate and are hurtful they have cold hearts. I saw that comment on Jenny’s channel, so cruel. Thank you for bringing up the topic xx
Yes, very sad. 😔
Chronic illness is very expensive. Unless someone is walking it, they don’t get it.
So true!
I feel so sorry for you all in the USA with your medical system. You can't put a price on life and I understand that there is not a never ending bucket of money.
Absolutely!
Hi Francine, I love how you talk..you are so down to earth like all of us..we..Pennsylvanians. Unfortunately all social media platforms are filled with bullies. I don’t like this world anymore, no one cares..at least in my corner of the world. I loved Jenny Appleford so much. I feel so bad that they attacked her and Kyle. I am so glad to hear from you, and I’m keeping you in my prayers always 🙏❤️🙏
There are a lot of humans that I love, but I'm not liking humanity much lately. :(
You make excellent points, Francine. No one should have to worry about becoming destitute after a cancer diagnosis. I'm in Canada, so the situation here is different, but even my son had a fund established by the community to help with expenses that our health care system didn't cover. When he died, the account was moved to another child with cancer in our town. Oh, and the people who berate and attack others with a Go Fund Me account are so warped in their heads that it's a waste of energy even acknowledging them. Bless their little black hearts. Finally, I loved your point about normalizing death and dying. I think some people will never figure out how to do that, but you're right to keep the conversation going. It is part of living, after all. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with such eloquence. You're in my prayers! -Honna ❤
Thanks for your comments Honna!
Hi Francine. You are so right. Our country's insurance policies are awful. I have several comingled autoimmune ailments, a brain aneurysm that's on watch, plus a pacemaker, due to a condition known as POTS. I also have Fibromyalgia/CFS. I'm on disability, and I still pay so much for specialists and medications that my insurance refuses to cover. It's awful. I budget, buy still, it takes a toll on me financially. I can't even imagine your financial situation with medical bills. Something has to be done.
I get the same crap from people. Oh you look fine. People are clueless, and can be so cold and cruel. I actually had someone stop me, even though I have a handicap placard, and say, you aren't handicapped. They don't know how I struggle to do routine chores and some days are worse than others.
OMG. $15,000 for a helicopter transport. It's obscene. Things have only gotten worse.
I don't know of you've ever watched Hospice Nurse Julie, but she's fabulous.
I hope and pray that you are feeling well today. Take care of yourself. ❤❤
POTS is the PITS. I'm so sorry for all your health concerns. My ex is on medicare, very poor health, and he can't even make ends meet on the regular bills. I advised him to just keep a roof over his head and food in the fridge. Eventually they'll just write it off. :( Yes, I do watch Nurse Julie. She's a real comfort.
I'm so sorry for what your ex is going through as well. No one plans on getting sick. POTS is the pits, truth! We just never know what's in-store for us. I was diagnosed with it in 2009. Not fun. Not being able to regulate your autonomic nervous system is like being on roller-coaster.
I used to be super mom. For the last 2 years, I've been watching my grandson since he was 3 months old. I'm down to one day a week (he's now in preschool), but after 9 hours with him, and I love him with all of my heart, I'm ready for bed as soon as I come home.
Julie is incredible. She gives me comfort as well. She tells it as it is.
My girls know that if something catastrophic were to happen, I don't want to be kept alive via machines. That's not life.
Have a good, peaceful night. ❤@MediumMilano
Wow that's a great video. My first husband died from bladder cancer. He fought it for five long years. I still to this day owe money. I remarried after a few years. My husband now has lung cancer just like Jennie Apple and he is at the end of life. Your words are so true. Both of my husbands have so much pride i couldn't ask for help. You are so right that they don't think about how it truly affected the spouse. I will be paying hospital and doctors bills till the day I die. I wish that everyone with cancer could see this video. I know both of my husbands love me with all these hearts but at the end of the day it leaves a big mess for the survivors left behind. You are truly an amazing lady. I hope you have an awesome week.
I am sorry for what you have gone through 😢
@@TammyTimeMovies thank you darling for the sweet words.
Yes Francine! There was a girl that was doing nothing but bash videos on those who had gofundme’s. These people either had cancer or lost someone to cancer and are just trying to keep their head above water. I asked her why she felt the need to get involved in their business and to just be kind. She took my comments and blasted them all over her channel. What a miserable sot!
WOW! I did not know that. Well, karma has an address book and a GPS. I'm sure she'll get to it.
You are so right💕
I see a lot of people here in Ireland get stressed about illegal immigrants and the government do nothing and for me all I want to do is spend time with the dogs in the forest as I'm 48 and I'm scared incase Cancer or something else knocks on my door. I do think people want to help others but their hands are tied due to finances, transport issues and other issues. Now to finish watching the video 🙂🇮🇪
❤
I agree with everything thing you said. Your words are so true. I hope people will listen. ❤️
Thank you. I hope so too!
Thank you 100% correct❤
Bless you honey, so true xx
I am thankful for this video. This was a great one. Also Jenny Apple was my girl and I can’t believe people are so cruel. I am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. ❤️🙏🏻
I also agree 100% with everything you said.
TY!
It is obscene to me that a person can become ill and lose everything. Just so wrong on every level.
Agreed!
You have given me so much information that is invaluable. Plus you look so much like one of my long time beautiful friends so I watch and listen intently. I am so sorry for your diagnosis and continuing pain. In January I was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of uterine cancer. High grade Stage 3C. Surgery and 2nd round of chemo so far and I need financial help, too, during this time. However, I don't know how to get anything set up and frankly I think my husband and sons would be so embarrassed if I posted anything on Facebook. I do have items I can sell because at my age 69 who needs more 'stuff', right? Plus I've been a long time 'collector' of various now vintage items. Have you made a video on how you set your financial outreach up? Even now you continue to give your time to help others understand so many things about cancer and life challenges and choices. I sincerely thank you and hope that I will be able to pay it forward eventually in some way, too. Take care.
Thank you Kim. I'm so sorry for all you go through. If you go to gofundme.com, the instruction to open a fundraiser will walk you through how to set it up and share it with others. If you aren't willing to share it with friends on face book or other places though, few people will see it. I hope your chemo goes well!
i wish i had that im a single parent with stage 4 breast cancer x
Sending hugs
Here! Here! I’m so tired of taking care of people in other countries. We have people literally starving in this country. How does that even happen? It’s horrible. And it’s not political. It’s just disgusting honestly.
...and you certainly don't see other countries helping us.
I agree with everything you’ve said!! PS I got married in Gettysburg many moons ago.
