@DD-qw4fz I love my turn 1 discard wins. I get so many rage quits opening with duress. Red players are not well know for cognitive prowess tho so makes sense
You are correct. I just tested it with Sparky to be 100%. It only triggers once per turn even with Drivnod out because the ability's text invalidates Drivnod's ability.
@@chunnil4898 I wonder why that is? Why would Vraan's text supercede Drivnod's? It seems arbitrary. Does it have something to do with order of triggers on the stack?
hey yo, friendly warning to all the people thinking about crafting this, dont. Played about 40 games in diamond with this over the last few days. its jank as fuck and SUPER inconsistent. you lose to control and mono red outright. it MIGHT be good after rotation, but in this current meta its pretty dogshit. Its good into boros and mono green and thats about it. Jay clearly got lucky as fuck in his matchmaking. No disrespect to old boy but its a pretty bad deck all things considered. you're much better off crafting mono black crimes or mono black control if you like mono black.
as one of the decks that basically got me to mythic i disagree. it was probably just not the right match for your play style which happens some times. if you a are losing to red, up the amount of removal for their aggro creatures. did you play in standard queue or alchemy queue also could have just been a run of bad luck. sorry it didnt preform better for you tho man
Mono black is always one of my go-to decks for ranking up quickly, and this one is extremely solid. Good work!
