I’ve followed you from the beginning. I was sad you ended your loc journey but I get it. Looking forward to seeing more content from your natural hair journey
Awwww I’m so glad you finished! Our hair texture looks very similar , especially the cute coils at the ends 😍🙌🏾💕 Can’t wait to see the styles you plan on doing . I’ve been wearing mini twists ever since I’ve combed out my Locs. Love that it’s a good in between where your not doing too much with your hair for a few weeks except moisturizing and washing .
Congrats on the new journey. The C in L.o.c. is cream so if you find that hair is dry quickly, go for a thicker cream (Carol's daugter coco crème or Camille rose Almond jay, Melanin's twist cream grease) for exemple. Good luck😊
Ohh you’re right. I haven’t tried a cream yet because the light weight leave ins are working so well for me. I’ll try it out in the future to compare the differences. Thanks for the recs!
Your hair is cute! Looking at you do the L.O.C method (something I did for years when natural) makes me realize that after 1 yr and 1 month with loc’s. I don’t miss it. lol. I do wish you all the best on your natural hair journey. ❤
Congratulations !🎊 I know that took time and dedication. I allowed my new growth to grow for 4 months without retightening only brushing and then I cut off my crocheted 35” loc’s. I hope that you enjoy the freedom as much as I do! Looking forward to seeing your new adventures!🎉
Girl you are gorgeous! 🥰😍 But I wanted to inform you that the Mielle oil (the little bottle) was on the news and on TH-cam due to users stating that the were loosing hair. So be careful sis.
Thank you! Yes I saw all of the videos about hair loss, but the oil hasn’t affected me negatively at all. I’ve been using it for over a year now. I think a lot of people were jumping on the bandwagon with that. I’m sure some people actually experienced hair loss but the whole situation is a bit suspicious to me. Maybe it happened to people who bought the oil after they were bought out by P & G, but mielle claims that the formula hasn’t changed so I’m not sure about that. I’m just using what works for me. I appreciate the concern ☺️
💪🏾 See, if i had trimmed my locs before taking them out, I might be done by now 😫Mine are about 3-4 inches past my shoulders. My goal is to be done by the end of December. My neck gets really achey as I go on, so I have to take a lot of breaks. I'm so happy you're done though! And your hair is beautiful
You look great. I’ll still be watching sense I love your channel vibes. When I was loose natural I would stretch my hair on rollers then style as desired. Now for my baby girl I just throw some of those hair ties in four sections after washing and it does the trick. The hair ties that look like old school phone cords
Wow!!! Congrats on a job well done!👏🏼 Girl, your shed hair is a whole head of hair on it's own!! It's amazing but your head doesn't missed it one bit as you've got a gorgeous thick bunch of hair left! Love it!! Really looking forward to watching you care for and style your lovely loose natural hair😍❤
@@JOSETTEBIANCA Good! It's really unclear if the product is the issue or something else. There was such a big uproar about it a few months ago. Enjoy your loose hair. It's beautiful!
Oh trust. Shaving is way easier than combing locs out. Your arms will be begging you to do it, and a professional will charge you an arm and a legs to comb them out.

Thank you! I definitely have to try that out. I’m pretty sure I have some of those hair ties. I’ve seen videos of people stretching their hair with rollers and it looks like a lot of technique is involved.
@ I didn’t use any techniques bc it was solely to stretch my hair not to maintain the curls. It was what I call a heatless blow out. I would twist then roll my hair on perm rods. Or skip the twist and just grab chunks and roll. You’ll find what works for you through exploring different techniques. Curlformers can make things easier but they can be annoying
@@MilahandTheChanges ahh I got it. And yes I was thinking the same thing. I think styling is a bit more of a challenge the shorter your hair is. Thanks!
I was really going to cut my locs off at the new growth 😂but I’m glad to learn I can comb out my microlocs ❤

Thank you! Yeah I want to start doing mini twists too, but I’m not sure when.

You're welcome 😊

Yeah, I had to do the trim. You can do it! Remember to take breaks and to stretch often☺️ thank you
🎉 good luck on your new journey. Looks great

Why did you decide to comb them out? Wishing you the best on your new journey!
She wanted a change. Before this set of locs that she had for like 4 years, she previously had a set for like 14 years. She craved something new.
Wow...congratulations! What was the total amount of time?
Your loose natural hair perfectly complements your beautiful face.
Thank you ☺️

Awww looks good sista❤ luv ya 😊
Thank you 💕💕
Gorgeous! Looks like you didn’t have much build up in your Locs. Did you?
Thank you! Not much build up at all. There were a few locs around the perimeter that had some but that’s it
Beautiful 😍
Congratulations! Side note: Is that the oil from the Mielle Rosemary line that people were talking about? 👀
Thank you! Yeah it is. I’ve been using it for over a year now and haven’t had any issues.

Did you trim your ends after you took out the locs?
I trimmed them as I went along. I think I’ll blow dry my hair and really see what my ends look like that way - not sure yet
unbrush! I liked it better than the Denman. Also we have the exact same hair type! Twins!
Added to my list, thank you hair twin!

I thought people had to shave their head.😂

It's still a good idea. Fresh hair, fresh energy, new chapter type stuff.

Also as your hair grows it opens up more (faster) styling options
