I personally imagine every single PAF had a globe by their phone forever after. And even for Rachel! Jesus, Rachel and Graham both thought the show was a laugh and didn't think to tell their dads to have globes and maps by the phone. Amazing to realize, not thinking of that screwed them both.
Aww, I actually thought Graham Elwell was a great first contestant for TV. Tarrant got scared he did so well as the first. I thought he was charming. Also.....Rachel Di Costa seemed creeped out by Tarrant. They don't show that in Quiz, but when she won FFF, she was clearly disturbed by his touchy-kissy demeanour.
More specifically, the tension I felt was there was that it was all becoming real, Elwell as the first, you can feel he sort of went as a laugh. I'm sure they made it up for Quiz I just, I'd disagree with the narrative.
Absolutely brilliant,he does look and sound like Chris, but looks a slightly younger Chris tarrant,maybe from first series ,maybe if they put a few wrinkles on him," but never the less well done Michael sheen and ITV
Sometimes he sounds spot on. Other times not so much. Especially when he shouts. His voices goes more into his natural register. There's other times he says words which sounds exactly like Chris. Overall though a good impression.
Although I feel it was a victimless crime in many ways I still felt bad for the programme's staff as it's the only game show I actually enjoy & even respect. I can't stand them usually.
They didn't pull it off though. The Major couldn't act to save his life, just about each time he would say "I think it's this one" for no reason. Then the coughing to the correct one meant he had to abandon that first answer he was drawn to. It was too obvious.
Could have been something to do with the pressure of sitting in front of a studio audience and a bunch of TV cameras and not wanting to lose £8,000. If she'd been sitting at home watching this on TH-cam and with no money at stake, she'd probably have been as sure of the answer as you are. :)
Just watching now I swear to god if Micheal sheen was asked to play Marilyn Monroe he’d do a great job brilliant actor

I don't think he is that convincing as Tarrant, personally. On an even more unrealistic note, how the hell can she not know the answer was Cornwall?
The footage of the contestant is the true footage from the 2nd episode. So yes, it is fairly realistic.
