I went to Cardiff in November '16 to watch the Springboks play Wales. We (Boks) were terrible at that time and Wales beat us quite handsomely. So there I was with family, having a few consolatory pints in a local pub when a couple of Welsh fans offered to buy us a pint. We spent the rest of the night with this group, having a couple of pints, talking rugby and just having a bit of a laugh. Beautiful stadium, the anthems with the roof closed made my hair stand on end, a good team and decent and humble fans (the ones we met anyway). Much respect from this SAFFA!
That's the proper spirit of rugby. Every country will have bad eggs and being Welsh, I know we have our fair share here but I also know we have some great fans too and I'm glad you found some. Good to know you had a good time in Cardiff despite the loss, good luck this summer for the Lions tour, butt!
Fantastic bunch of tries, at a fantastic stadium which hopefully will be full again soon. It's hard to pick out a favourite, but the three for me George North against us Irish lads, the Tommy Bowe try but the ultimate one for is the Japan try. It was like poetry on the field.
Mr. Andrew Forde yer a legend. Ye've made some amazing content yet again. It feels like a lifetime away I watched Stringer pull that one on Biarritz, had no idea it was in the Millennium, what a gem.
Hahahah! No bad comments yet.. if there are any, my justification is that the Kiwi commentators said on the replay "forward pass or not that was a great try"
It's a wonderful try, but by no definition was that ball out of the ruck in the Japan try. Stop it at 0:40 and it is *clearly* in front of the back foot, and still inside the ruck.
“We talk about magic and that was a beauty, forward pass or not” - the words of the Kiwi commentator at the time. It was given as a try and therefore is included.
Did you have to put that Kurtley Beale one in? Really? Where's Shane Williams vs Australia 2008? Length of the field team try against a SH powerhouse. Should have been included.

A true Welsh man still calls it the Millennium Stadium.
Cardiff Arms Park, actually.
@@shka-n1t going old school. I like it!
@@shka-n1t Glad you're not my postie, Cardiff Arms Park is next door to the Millenium
@@shka-n1t ok sorry mate see what you mean now, mixed bag of CAP and Millenium
@@artjacob5359 ages ago principality used to be Cardiff arms park it’s hard to explain
The entire of Cardiff shook when Cuthbert scored that try.
The entire of Wales shook when he scored!
@@josephwalliker6162 I was in the Bunker and it was absolute madness that day
Another great video for the best stadium.
Eddie Butler's commentary on nearly all of these really makes them. The voice of international rugby in Britain!

Connecting such fine tries to the stadiums they were scored in is a winning combination.
I was there for THAT Tommy Bowe try in 2009. My first ever visit to the stadium and I wasn't disappointed. Was a great day out even though we lost.
Oh yes. Murrayfield next please
10 mins of pure "Wow".
Cheers mate 👍👏
Wonderful. Thank you Andrew.
That first Owen Farrell tackle Warbuton couldn't get up
Andrew butt, playing with fire putting that Jauzion try in here 😂

The ABs got away with hundreds of those over the years, so it sits well with me!
There's certainly some great moments here, but plenty of heartbreak too (Beale and Daly)
Was difficult to put them in as a Welsh fan it's got to be said...
really well done video:) love your channel
I love these videos about the best moments in the stadiums 👍🏻
What will be next? Murrayfield?😃
TOMMY BOWE!

Great video. Good selection!
That Beale try though... Even Eddie Butler sounded crushed 😭
Schöne Dinger dabei! 👍🏼
That Japanese try is stunning!
Maybe the one from llian williams vs england in the same game Of the daly’s one was magic but a very nice vidéo!
Jauzion!
This vid made me realise I miss stadiums filled with fans...
suggestion: best/funniest rugby celebrations
Yessss
I know that Maclean try was only Pro 14 but wow what a try that was.
just finished the twicky one wooo
Best stadium in the world for atmosphere. Great tries though
Can you do one in the Aviva pls
Do Murrayfield next
Can you do the Aviva next?
that try by jauzion had a clear forward pass in it. Very cruel to NZ to put that in

can you make one video, of an argentinian player?
There is at least one: Santiago Cordero
Eden Park next
Do Ireland’s stadium
How about the best Wales tries not scored at the Millennium Stadium?
The one against Scotland wasn’t very good
Next can you do aviva
Such a significant try that had I not included it, people would have asked where it was. Damned if you do and damned if you don’t it would seem!😂

Apologies, I sometimes forget certain tries, I'm only human!
@@AndrewDavidForde I was there for that one, I'll never forget it.

I don't think Japan grounded that ball
WTF how can you include the most forward pass in history France v NZ 2007?
