I collect bookmarks. 😂 I can't resist a bookmark display in a bookstore. And if someone I know is going on vacation or something and they ask what they can bring back for me, I always say a bookmark. They always look at me weird and say, "I'm offering you literally anything from a foreign land... and you want yet another bookmark?" Um... YES. 🤣 I usually have more than one book on the go, and there will be certain times of day when I'll read each one. The book I read for school or self-education in the afternoon isn't always the book I want to read while half-asleep in bed, so I usually have something heavy and something light or at least fun. Right now, though, I have 4 on the go - 2 for school, 1 for a buddy read, and 1 for fun. I rarely get time for the last one! I keep books for school on a little table-on-wheels that I can bring to wherever I'm sitting and push away when I'm done, and books-for-fun sit on my night stand. I read for smallish chunks of time throughout the day, maybe 20 minutes to an hour at most. Dust jacket off for its own protection. I spend most of my day in a reclining position because of chronic illness, so that's how I read, these days with help from an adjustable lap desk that tilts to hold the book at the perfect angle. I don't usually update my progress with a book on goodreads, I just add it there when I'm done. Great tag!
Collecting bookmarks sounds fun but here they're so expensive and the quality is very questionable😅 with work/school is so difficult to find enough time to actually read, right? I like the idea of the table of wheels! Mine are stacked around the house😅 Oh, I hope you're doing! The adjustable lap desk sounds very handy, I ought to check it out. Thank you so much for commenting and sharing your answers :)
Thank you! Yeah, I was thinking about it today because I was wondering if starting a 4th book was too much and I've decided to just finish one of the 3 and then I can pick a new one 😄
People who dog-ear LIBRARY books, annoy me...it's like "c'mon man! Tear a piece of cereal box, or something!" x re. Hardcovers, they are more expensive here in the UK, too, but some people join book clubs, where you purchase x amount of books per annum, but at a reduced price. Sometimes supermarkets have hardcovers less than RRP, but the choices are very limited.
I don't dog-ear or write in library books, I find people who do that very inconsiderate of others. I agree, they can just use a piece of paper, it's not that hard! Oh, those book club deals sound good, we don't have anything like that here really. But our supermarkets sometimes have some interesting sales, but hardcovers are still not very common. Thank you for commenting! :)

It seems like 3 is the magic number. I really enjoyed IT and love Ken Follett’s series 😊👍 This is a fun tag. I enjoyed hearing your answers!
