Young Skywalker, you are right about R33-R34 builds. You can get a nice used R35 for as much as it cost to build a 509-600 hp early car. Also correct about building a turbo Supra two or three times over compared to an GTR. Can't wait for the first drive videos.
the peak oil pressure in an engine will be constant because it is regulated in the pump. So if you have a leak like oil squirters above 3k rpm you won't see a drop in oil pressure. The oil squirters also have a valve so they don't open under a certain pressure, so the engine doesn't lose oil pressure at idle or relaxed driving when pistons don't need the extra cooling anyway
Totally agree with the prices differences of parts from Nissan to Toyota is night and day. Also getting parts from online stores which you either wait and save money or spend double the price from at the dealership.
One thing i would have changed , and what was told to me. I would go with a dual wastegates setup since it's a vband manifold. Reason for twin gates and not just one large gate is so you can control boost. Using one big gate you WILL get boost creep. Turbo technology has advanced so much now that they all flow extremely good, and will flow even better with a vband setup. This is what was told to me by my tuner. I did two 46mm gates for mine, granted it's a bit more money but for ease of mind it pays off going this route.
Love it bro!! We went with the t56 magnum F front grannas racing for our build, solid gearbox best choice we've done, but as you said, can hear all the rattles inside the steel bellhousing. if i could of went for a cast housing, would have done it in a heartbeat! goodluck with the build my man
the pain on the nissan tax i can feel. currently building a r34 gt4 waiting to get rear qtrs. pre nismo 1100ea current 2500ea -.-. definetly cant wait to get into the jza80 next :D keep up all the content everything you put up helps always something to take away from it!
great video! I recently imported a rhd 93 supra. I just finished rebuilding the motor now I am gathering the parts to complete the tubo kit. transmission I might go t56 route, unless I find a really good deal on a cd009 tranny and kit.
1 Massive tip for you if you haven't already don it in the future eps.. While the engine is out, weld -12an fittings onto your heater supply and return lines, will save you a bunch of issues down the track.
man only recently found ya but loving the vids. youve really inspired me to keep building my car as put all my time and effort into it. keep up the amazing vids. much love form NSW.
We supply pulsar turbos over here in qld and they are excellent turbos. Their product is amazing service is great and the quality is on par with bigger name brands
Just check the water feed from the block to the turbo head is aligned mate. I think there is a slight difference in position which needs adapting between the blocks "i think". great builds as always👍🏻
Hey mate, in your next vlog can you show how you install the rear water heater pipe in a brand new head; the one that goes to the heater core in the back of the engine
Absolutely killing it with the videos man. Top quality stuff and loving the consistent uploads. Side note: Any chance you know a supplier or contact for a new RB26 head? 🤣
almost clicked off this video till i saw the caslemaine rod shop stuff get unboxed. I definitely need/want all the info on that and what version of the TR6060 you're going with. been looking to do this myself.
Only thing dumb about the pulsar t51 mods is they arent loud if thats an issue, ive ran the pulsar gen2 gtx3582r on my rb26 for the past year with no issues whatsoever, performs really well.
Sure the gearbox ratios are high, but I'm sure they can be tamed somewhat with the lower diff ratios from the n/a supras. (4.11 as opposed to 3.7 or the Supra TT 3.2 ratio)
The only reason you would change the intake manifold on a GTE is when you go for way over 1000hp. They're pretty useless over that amount of power lol 😂
Rb sounds better than jz? Yea mate, you’ve definitely cooked it 🤣 I’ve got both (rb20 and 2jz, and had a few 1j) , they are different but beautiful in their own respects, I can’t say one sounds better than the other, but I’ve always been a jz man, so at a nudge, jz sounds better, esp a 1j.

🙏🙌
Are you sure about that?
The consistency of your uploads right now is fucking awesome! This channel always had mad potential, its great to watch it all come together.
Glad someone notices haha cheers
I learned from this 2jz build, you explained it clearly. I love performance engines, I am from Kingston, Jamaica. I like this channel.
Took your advice from the last Vlog and watching this at work 👍
That was quick!
cant wait for the first burnout
This is going to look great in the green Supra!
Always keeping it real, and loving it 😄🇭🇲
Will do man !
I like how you give importance to budget... I am inspired to be like you man...
Haha i'm sure there are better role models 😆
Yes the T51R is super loud. I had that turbo without it and it was still loud
absolute legend. doing the hard research so that people dont have to. ill say it every video. best channel on youtube.
THANK YOU!

That makes more sense than what i said, cheers

Yeah nissan is ridiculous

Loving the supra content, sold my RZ for 16k 7 years ago biggest regret,
Ouchh
so excited to see the first vid of you driving it damo!
Yeeew
This channel is super underrated
Thanks man 🙌

Thank you!!
Have you tried a strip of dynamat over the bellhousing? It could be an inexpensive fix.
Grannas Racing has a cast bellhousing for their GR700 kits
@@ridhaadelong4369 they literally released the cast bellhousing 1 month after we ordered our kit 😓
@@wa.gtrsoul very good idea sir! Will deffinatly do somthing like that to see if it helps
T56 is behind the LS in the SS commodores. They are easy to find and easily obtainable. The best part is ppg do a sequential setup for the t56.
Wealth of knowledge! Ty for the informative video burv, keep up the good work
Will do cheers!
That's a lot of trust in that table at the very beginning. lol
😂
nah t51r mod sounds mad, youll love it, well suited on a jza80

M4 dct swap it
Keep in mind though that using an aluminum bellhousing can give you trouble with mixed metal corrosion

Note Taken! Cheers bro

Awesome!
Very nice build and a good explanation mate!
It's great to hear You ;)
how is this free to watch another banger vid GS Man
Only warming up! Wait till they're done 🙏
Vids are getting really well made Dude. I look forward to watching the, kudos!
We supply pulsar turbos over here in qld and they are excellent turbos. Their product is amazing service is great and the quality is on par with bigger name brands
Happy days
Stoked for this :D
Great content and to the point on why you chose everything! Keep up the great work!
Cheers Jim!
Just check the water feed from the block to the turbo head is aligned mate. I think there is a slight difference in position which needs adapting between the blocks "i think". great builds as always👍🏻
Yeah will be going from the water neck and pump so all sorted! Cheers
Hey mate, in your next vlog can you show how you install the rear water heater pipe in a brand new head; the one that goes to the heater core in the back of the engine
im new to the channel, been enjoying your 2jz series. keep it up mate
Cheeers will do
I cannot wait for this build to be finished
Haha so we can start another skyline or because you're excited for the supra? 😆
Awesome video! Just put non vvti internals in my ge-vvti block
Nicee 👌
you do some "relieving" of areas in the oil pump for 2jz NA-T to overcome the additional oil pressure.
I did not :/ Hopefully no dramas
Absolutely killing it with the videos man. Top quality stuff and loving the consistent uploads. Side note: Any chance you know a supplier or contact for a new RB26 head? 🤣
Cheeers! Negative on that one :(
@@BrokenSilvia Haha thanks anyway man
I've ordered this turbo for my R34, just without the T51R mod, will be interesting to see how they compare
Al ce da zvoni 💥

And thats running constant 600whp plus
Yeah i'd be perfect for what i want then! Happy days
More than enough explanation. 👍🏼
Happy days

Yeh even with 4.11 its pretty shit compared to a 6 speed such as cd009
love the content mate !
🙌
Love it mate! Keep it on 🔥🔥🔥
great farken video mate..what kinda hp figures you think youll get on the dyno..whats the end goal?
Keep up brother 💪🏾
But you forgot the link for the t6060
Will add it soon!
Pulsar turbos are great, have two cars running them
Awesome video mate!!
Thanks man!
👏🏻💪🏻
👍👍🔥🔥
🔥🖤
Exellent proyect 💪🏻🇨🇷
🙏 thank you
have you looked at ecumasters for your ecu? they offer everything you would need as mentioned in the video
Haltech is the go to here in Aus man
The ge vvti came with coil packs not distributor
What build would you do besides skylines and Supra’s and Silva’s
E30 M3 ! Or even a good replica
The only reason you would change the intake manifold on a GTE is when you go for way over 1000hp. They're pretty useless over that amount of power lol 😂
My man went in on nissan
😂 Renault pos
Just a question with that engine and gearbox combo how well does the gear shifter line up with the hole in the tunnel???
I'll let you know in a future episode
How much hp you think you’re gonna get off this engine
Lookin for series 2 headlights for my supra. Any ideas where to get some?
Brand new from toyota
Are you gonna shave the top of the block a lil before you install the top?
Yeah i think so
Yo how much HP does this engine produce?
Build a hecktic vl Calais turbo
when engine start

26ftw, can't beat it
How much for that head ?
$2000ish
The non vvti plenum fits on the gte vvti?
Yep
@@BrokenSilvia I was led to believe it didnt, cheers! 🙌
Toyota never made a great looking car? MR2 W1 and W2, MK5 Supra, 2000GT. I mean sure, it's subjective but damn that's one hot take bro :D
Just go find a 1gz-fe v12 for it
The Sr fan girls are gonna have a breakdown when they hear that comment. When they finish ploughing the fields with their tractor engine's that is.
Tell em!! 😆
I k ow you say you can build 3 supras for the price of 1 GTR.. that might be true in Australia. But in the US we are getting raped on both of them.
But with gtr it's more like gang rape.
@@wa.gtrsoul yeah lol it hurts.
I think building a supra in the US would be even cheaper
@@BrokenSilvia you would think. We actually got to have those when they came out. But a 2jz engine and trans is 7-10k.
Don’t waste your money on that thing get a Barra
"Toyota never made a great looking car". C'mon brother. Just look at there 60/70's era cars. Te27, ra23, ra28, ta17 and the 2000gt.
Yeeah forgot about a few landcruisers too, i retract my previous statement hah
