Labour will double-down on any change to the electoral system. The only way for people to fight the system is to make their communities stronger and to get rid of the career bureaucrats in this local councils. Stop the rot locally because nationally you don't stand a chance.

Nigel is cleverer than people realise. He was very restrained, almost politically correct, in the run up to this election. When his party is more established it will roll out a more radical agenda and people will flock to it and vote him in in 2029 (or before). In the meantime it is the role of the right in the UK to keep up unremitting pressure on the Labour government, particularly on the issues Nigel hardly mentioned in his campaign, and which are central to his appeal: migration, gender politics and the abuse of the welfare state. Starmer's time as PM must be made as uncomfortable as possible.

I don't think Reform need to do very much different with the exception of vetting their candidates more strictly. Labour will go the same way as the Tories with internal divisions and public dissatisfaction with their policies tearing them apart. I'm sure that the Wellingborough voters will come to regret not electing Ben Habib.

Lot's of speculation in the media of which Tory MP might join Reform. Don't want or need any. However, members and local Councillors who feel that the Tory MPs don't reflect their values anymore would be very welcome and a great help to Reform in building up its local ground game.

If there are Conservatives that have grown disillusioned with their own party because it no longer has right wing politics then why not let them join Reform. I say welcome them, the more MP’s we have the stronger our voice in Parliament. It would be great to have more than the SNP.
