That’s what I did too. From what understand and correct me if I’m wrong, the enemies only count as half a kill but still much quicker that running around. But for precision kills break neck was the best.

We’ve gotten 6 for this week, which leaves us with 6 more to unlock, so either they’re gonna drop 1 weapon a week or drop the 6 remaining next week. Which seems like the plan since they said all weapons will be available by April 26th And that’s approximately around the time we’d get all of Em if they were to drop 1 a week.
@@Luffy5445 for scout, play Onslaught cause you'll need to play that mode a lot anyway and it gives you more progress per precision kill. I used Taraxippos and got almost 40 % by playing two Onslaught games.
Weapons with some kind of AoE (incandescent, firefly, etc.) are the best options, outside of quest that want precision kills with that specific weapon.
thrall unlimited respawns in the whisper mission under the green room. two weapons in about 30 mins and you can get there easily solo. possibly better than shuro chi and dont need a checkpoint.
Literally was about to say the same 😂 and your getting a chance of rolling them double columns whilst your grinding 😅 just use weapons with aoe perks every class of gun will have at least one
i go to the entrance of vault of glass on the moon..lunar battlegrounds area...dont go into garden just sparrow there..no less then 50 ads will spawn in in 3 waves when your done i just fast travel to eris morn hit the rally that is there and then fast travel back to sorrows and sparrow back to the lunar battlegrounds..not the fastest but for some reason the ads there give me more progress.
I disagree about having to do crucible to do these quickly. I don't do crucible & barely gambit. Only have 1 more to finish, the breach load grenade launcher. So witherhoard in pve content on everything I do. I just stuck with a weapon or 2 if I could use more Than 1 & did open world & onslaught legend farming. Hand cannon, sunshot on a single run of onslaught. Thanks profane, always appreciate the info & guudes!

Love how everything in destiny is just a chore. Like almost no quest are fun or enjoyable. After all it is a game meant to be fun but all theee quest are just task like it’s a job.

In the Deep Campaign mission on the Moon also supplies endless waves of thrall to mow down. I finished just about every exotic catalyst this way. You have to wait for it to rotate in though 😢
Grasp of av is good for the sniper one double special sniper with power sniper too unlimited ammo as you constantly get fed special without even moving same goes for the shattered throne for whisper quest
going to shuro lastwish cp will take around 30 min to finish all of them its very easy also the weekly bounty which require raid can be done there dung bounties can be done in prohphecy first cp very easy

For the weapon attunement quests, I got one for you. Let's say you have the Recluse quest. Get out Huckleberry from your collections tab. Load up the Exotic mission from the EDZ called "Node.Ovrd.Avalon." Go to the 1st part with the 2 portals. Kill the 2 sniper Hobgoblins and the Minotaurs. Now, all you have left to deal with are the red bar Goblins that continuously pour out of the portals. That's what you want. You can do this quest in less than 10 min and you don't even have to move to get it done. Why Huckleberry you ask? For this particular weapon type, it is the better choice as the perks on Huckleberry keeps you from virtually having to reload, which speeds up the rate at which you get kills. Same thing for Edge Transit as I used "The Colony" which made it easier because all I had to do was shoot in the general direction of the enemies and the grenades did the rest, plus Colony has auto reloader. These are just examples but use what you want.
If you're doing the quest for a weapon that uses special or heavy ammo, try to use an Exotic weapon (in the kinetic slot if possible) as a filler weapon to generate the ammo you need. Also, ensure you have the appropriate mods on, i.e. heavy/special ammo finder on the helmet, scavenger on the boots. This helps keep the ammo flowing. This works for pretty much every weapon as I've now done it for Edge Transit, Elsie's Rifle, Recluse and Falling Guillotine. Weapons like Succession are better while being out in the open with it being a long-range weapon, but you get the point. Of course, you can run Onslaught until your eyes bleed while getting progress on the quest done and getting new drops, but you're also competing for kills. This is a great alternative and hope this helps.
Gone are the days of farming for weapon progress only to die after 40-80+ kills, if I'm farming trash mobs u'll find me in the whisper mission basement thinning the shadow thrall horde lol, 40 mins if inf shadows that spawn in agro'd (this is easily the BEST place to grind weapon catalysts as well) now has a hole in the wall that de-agros everything useful for swapping mods and weapons
Do the sniper and gl at the same time at shuro chi like the video says, once I ran out of sniper I went to a chain reaction heavy gl to make it go faster
I did all of them inside of onslaught in about 2-3 hours, quick enough for me. Plus, I was getting new rewards the entire time. I recommend if you want the new stuff to just do them in onslaught.
If you use chain reaction doesn't that count as kills and was wondering if you use cloud strike and get a precision kill will all the explosions count as kills as well

Most is good but ostreo poison kills do not count towards it so it makes it take longer. It's the same with catalysts always has been

Shuro is where I did it, didn't take long
The sniper one is way quicker at shuro chi checkpoint! I used a succession and the whisper and did it in a lil over 2 wipes.
Shuro chi worked best for me, if you know what you're doing you can get 80 to 90 kills per run which is faster than break neck.

If you just equip the weapons needed and run onslaught it really doesn’t take too long and you’re getting rewards while progressing.

Don't discount taking this time to work on some catalyst for some of these weapon types. Double progress
I just did everything in cosmodrome, with the walker that gives infinite heavy ammo. 😂
yep, I do this too. Then run through the lost sector behind it for more kills. The final chest always drops about 4-5 heavy bricks as well.
I normally use vow of disciple for this, start the vehicle area. Enemies respawn. I prefer over shi ru qi, because of the song timer

And if you don't have access to those places go to the moon, Sorrow's Harbor, and the event there will give you enough mobs to do it.

The second encounter of the VOD is another place as well. They will keep spawning and give you a few sec between for a tiny break.
