So this is my second attempt in trying to learn how to fish. Part one went well, I learn the basics like how to tie a trace and how to cast into the water. This time I head out to the beachfront to try again although some places had a low tide and the water seemed very shallow, I looked around and found a better area to fish.
Hi all you may have seen in previous videos that I go out camping to a lot of great places, some near the beach or close to a river or lake. So i get a lot of comments asking me why I don't do any fishing, well I haven't really learnt how to. So to help me have a lot more fun when camping and to learn a new hobby I have decided to try and learn how to fish. If you have any good advice about fishing please let me know, I am willing to learn. I actually have only fished, well attempted to fish a handful of times in my life.

Get yourself a plastic rod pipe .will make your life easy when you baiting up . You doing OK. Jus be patient you get better .

The guy that's shaking his rod is either stuck on a rock or sent down a live bait. The shaking allows it to reach the sinker. Its sent down as a slide bait.

@@SumeranGovender you don't have to be a professional to catch a fish the fish will hook itself
Tip Wen using the prawn de shell it use a knife split it in half and then place it on Ur hook inside out and bind or tie it with the cotton
I wouldn't mind teaching you Im not a professional either but I know the basics of catching a fish

Hi prawn u can use in a reefy rocky area, best bait for surf is sardine

Try use sardine for bait it will work better
Do a bigger hook
Bro from what I've seen looks like you need to cast little deeper and prawn is a good bait near a reefy area try fishing of a rocky ledge for better experience of catching fish good luck and tight lines👍

LOL Few things Use Mackeral or Sardine Bait downside u have to touch it as it needs to be filleted
Hook tip needs to be proud /exposed use smaller bait if hook is small

Another tip that might help the long bottom part of the rod u should put it under ur arm it might be more comfortable.tight lines my guy🙌

Agree. Your type of rod is used for spinning, the use of artificial baits. Really enjoyable during the sardine season

Better go to the fish market and buy some fish.
