      Interesting. The re-enactment portion of the oldest CW episode I could find (th-cam.com/video/lXNuCnJ5Ieg/w-d-xo.html) does seem to give off alot of old Chinese drama vibes. But they've also begun incorporating some reporting elements too.

      No I just find tht there are missing pieces to the story... how do u know the tumor is cancerous without pathology report. To diagnose cancer you must first remove the tumor, send into pathology..
      MRI alone dont diagnose. I done an open brain surgery I know the procedures.. Some thing abt this story is off... some pieces are missing during the diagnosis
      And not all tumors are cancerous.

    • @gperm3710
      @gperm3710 3 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      Yes, common sense, but discharging a patient usually isn't based on how much they have recovered, it's more of "how much medical attention do they still need"
      There are some cases where it doesn't matter if they are in the hospital or not, eg: recovering from a broken body part, having a deeply cut wound heel, surgery done and now just waiting for the wound to heal
      If we were to discharge patients only when they fully recover, cancer patients would be staying in hospital for months
      But of course, you don't need more than 2 braincells to know NOT to discharge a patient in that situation, she's in pain, moving around so much

She took me to a Doctors and two hospitals before they gave me an X-ray, I had skull damage. Not that serious but it's still something you should KNOW if you have. The counsel is absolutely right in saying that no doctor in Singapore will discharge a patient if the patient has to still undergo checkups while in hospital. No patient is to be discharged if further tests or observations show that the patient is still in a serious condition that renders him/her unfit for discharge from hospitalisation. In Singapore, strict laws and regulations have been in place. Any misdiagnosis in health or medical condition will be strictly investigated and if a medical practitioner is found to be negilent in his/her diagnosis of medical conditions, he/she will be put into investigation by the Medical Council of Singapore. If found guilty, his/her licence will be suspended. If the patient has died due to the wrong diagnosis of the medical condition he/she is in, the medical practitioner will have his/her licence revoked.

      And also protected by the agreement signed before operation that complications from surgery is not the responsibility of the doctor.
      It is just overconfidence. The radiology result wasn't accurate and the radiologist had provide his initial opinion that also verified the flawed doctor's diagnosis.
      Further statements from the British Expert Consultant Neurosurgeon also supported the flawed doctor's decisions.
      Probably the actor for the doctor acted as villian very well or have that face that people don't like and wish to imprison him. Lol
