Jokes aside, the Soviet equivalent of the M4 is a beautiful example of a weapon that doesn't need any special attachments to do the job well. Also, in my opinion, the Krinkov is possibly one of the best looking of the AK family.
@@Chevalier_knight Eh, I'd argue otherwise. The AKS-74U was a shortened version of the AK with a retractable stock. It's the exact same concept as the M4, although that was done at a far earlier date. That and the M16 is a more akin to a full length rifle.
you're an idiot if you think that an AK variant with an 8 inch barrel is the "equivalent" to an M4 with a 14.5 inch barrel, especially when 5.45 AK variants with 12 something inch barrels exist. That is all before you consider that the two have completely separate design intentions and are used in completely different roles lol
@@Nathan-Roman Yeah, but what I'm saying is that the Krinkov is a much shorter version of the AK-74 built to be lighter and mainly used at closer ranges and a with a higher rate of fire than their longer counterparts, which is a philosophy that can generally be applied to the M4 in reference to the M16, especially considering the way prototypes were introduced in Vietnam. Sure the AK's barrel is only 2 inches longer than the M4, but the Krinkov is comparably much shorter, and the same can be said about the M16's 20 inch barrel vs the M4's 14.5. And yes, they were designed at different times by different countries to fit different roles, so obviously they're going to be *far* from similar in many aspects, but the overall concept of what it *is* is why I compare the two.
I've been using the AKS for a long time now. If you put on a 4x M150 with laser sight it turns into a long-range sniper with diminished but still viable CQC ability.
Gotta run it with the aiming grip. This is the ultimate "on the move" weapon IMO. With the A-grip you'll win the majority of your firefights. Absolute unit of a weapon!
I never felt picking this over the alpha AK, since the alpha has way lower horizontal recoil. Good video though, will probably end up using the gun more. Subbed.
The way it feels like is an insurgent mk18. it has one thing over the mk18. it's got middle eastern status. for context, the aks74u was only able to be obtained via killing a helicopter pilot. consider how hard it is to kill helo's in this game, and get rid of any amr's

What’s funny is that drums should actually decrease horizontal recoil the more full they are. Heavier gun = less recoil. However we already have a system where it makes you slower if you are heavier which would balance this.
tracers in cqb can help assist in hip-fire. The flash hider keeps really harsh flash from obstructing aim and also removes the fireball that is really visible at range.

This is one of if not the only gun I absolutely love without any attachments. And I actually prefer its irons over any optic.
I just love how cheap it is to buy and run this gun effectively
