About the Book:

Once in a while, you get to read a book that reminds you of why you fell in love with reading and fantasy in the first place, and this was one of them. The author said herself that these books are “a love letter to fantasy readers and the power of story" and I think that’s exactly how these books felt when I was reading them - the atmosphere the writing creates is just so surreal and easy to get lost in, and every puzzle piece of the world fits together so elegantly. It explores themes of hope, tolerance, endurance, memory, and the different ways forgiveness and revenge are intertwined in the processing of trauma, and is overall, a beautiful story.

@@boopdoop2471 idk man last time i read it i was in middle school, was pretty neat tho. Might be a small unintepretable spoiler, but if you like ppl chasing their ambitions, magic, finding an old city, society vs supernatural, discovering who you are and sideplot of romance etc. I'd say give it a go. It's a full on fantasy novel :))

At 1:10, the music just feels eerie, like the first music notes felt right and wrong at the same time, as if we stepped in a strange, beautiful yet scary place that we shouldn't be in

I won a first edition in a library raffle as a small child when thhis book first came out and I swear I've read it once or twice a year since I got it. I've read it dozens of times and it's still one of my favorite books. I cry every time and the older I get, the more whimsical and romantic it becomes while still being one of the hardest hitting books I've ever read

This is almost a little spooky. Just finished "Strang the Dreamer" and then all of sudden I randomly come across your channel. "Thakrar" I suppose... Excellent mix. It really captures the feel of the book. Excited to begin Part II

I really dont know what to do. i dont have any dream and i dont know why should i live then. i really wanna find my dream, but what if i'll never find it? how can i live without any dream? i dont see any meaning of life or reason to live. i dont know what to do
