If you listen to some of her videos from 2018 when she performs with just a single guitarist you will notice in many of them she keeps looking to one side as if she is reading a sheet held up for her. She was on AGT Approx. 3 years ago and what she did with Queens Bohemian Rapsody and Elton John's Goodbye Yellow Brick Road was Absolutely Amazing! Her talent and style harkens back to the time of the torch songs from the 40's and the 50's!
A thirteen year old that can start an AGT audition a cappella and instantly hold her audience needs little in the way of accompaniment. Her voice is so good a simple backing is all that is really needed.

Angelina is a true musical genius in that she innately knows how a song must be sung to reveal all the emotions of the lyrics. This is very obvious to me in that she changed the emphasis of the phrase "It matters how this ends, 'Cause what if I never love again?'" To "It matters how this ends, 'Cause what if I NEVER love again?". That emphasis and elongation of the word never totally sums up the import of the song.
Angelina has been writing songs since she was 10 years 0ld - So far 12 have been released: Oslo, What is Life?, Shield, Million Miles, 7th Heaven, Love Don't Let Me Go, Now I'm The Fool, Fire and Rain, All My Fault, Good in Goodbyes, Diamond, and Our Time. Angelina has stated that she has written about 100 songs that have yet to be released. Her songs are taken from her Journal writings. When she was 10/11 she rewrote the Lyrics to Amy Winehouse's Back to Black and Rehab to make them more age appropriate at that time. In addition, Angelina performed an unreleased original song Princess of Ruins at her Las Vegas concerts - if and when that is officially released it will be her 13th original.
I absolutely LOVE Million Miles......she did that one at age 16 I believe. It's a song written to her recently passed grandfather at that time.

👣Adele has for sure been a great inspiration to Angelina, and has been with her for quite a while. At 6 and barely 7 Angelina already whas in studio-sessions rehearsing Adele`s "Skyfall" and "Rolling In The Deep". (Even at 5 yo mum or grandma made a homevideo of Angelina singing R - I- T- D)
She also did two Adele songs during her showes in Vegas in February 29th this year. "All I Ask" and "When We Where Young". This last one is definitely one to react to as well. You might even review both her versions, as she was 13, and 18 this year. Things DO evolve during 5 teen-years. Even for Angelina. And it is great to see her developement like this, on two videos back to back. They are both performances from live conserts, so they are fan-made, - still with rather great audio. There are four things that get me about this one:
1. That Run. 'Nuff said.
2. That little "flip", or whatever you would call it - almost a "catch" in her voice - every time she sings the words "by" and "like" (except the first time she sings "like"). I can't say she _only_ does that when she covers Adele, but she definitely does it a lot more in those covers than in others. It's weird, because I don't think Adele actually does that when she sings. At least, not when she sings the songs Angelina has covered, at the points in the songs where Angelina does it.
3. The way she sings the word "again" at the end of the first chorus, midway through the song. She sings it with very little "sustain". Ordinarily, she would elongate the vowel sound and sing it like, "Agaaaaain". But instead she brings the word to an end very quickly, making the musical interlude between verses seem even longer than it already is. I don't know about anyone else, but I always really _feel_ that _lack_ of her singing for those 13 seconds.
4. The way she sings the word "again" at the very end of the song. She draws out the vowel sound quite a bit, the way we would expect, but then only adds vibrato as she is singing the final "n" consonant sound.

Michael was 11 years old at the time and you will get to see just how talented a child he was both in singing and dancing. (As usual, it is ethereal, no one could have done it better.) “All I Ask” is a song by British singer-songwriter Adele, written about a potentially final escapade in a failing relationship. It was written in collaboration with Bruno Mars, Brody Brown and Philip Lawrence for her third album, 25. The song received a relatively large amount of promo for a non-single: it was first performed live as a part of Adele: Live in New York City.
I would think that Adele, and all the others who contributed to this song would be gratified that the greatest storytelling signature vocalist that has ever lived did them the honor of performing their work. The word is out that Jenifer Warren, one of the most famous songwriters, has written a song just for AJ, and her new album. Republic Records knows the potential of our genus, Angelina Jordan, and they have put together some of the biggest names in the industry to support her. Unchained Melody (AJ, at the age of 17 performed at the Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony December 2023 in Oslo, Norway) I watched as Angelina Jordan stepped onto the stage, her presence commanding attention. The room hushed, anticipation hanging in the air like a delicate thread. She stood there, a young girl with an old soul, ready to weave magic with her voice. As the first notes of "Unchained Melody" filled the room, time seemed to slow. Angelina's voice wrapped around each word, infusing them with a depth that transcended mere lyrics. It was as though the song had been written for her, and her alone. The audience held its breath as she sang. Her voice soared, reaching heights that touched the heavens. Hulu will soon feature a documentary by Jon Bonjovi, his band’s life & times. Most recently, Mr. Bonjovi realized that he was suffering from a devastating vocal cord atrophy. He underwent a vocal cord surgery. I want the team which look after Angelina’s well being, to study Mr. Bonjovi’s journey, back to vocal health. He indeed, had a successful vocalist’s outcome. But even he, measured the time his voice would sing per day, citing 2.5 hours, 4 days per week. Angelina sang What if I never ........ love again. I prefer Angelinas version, the fragility of emotion, for me she expresses the lyrics better, the pain and heartache.
You guys are great, but very behind with Angie. She has so many great song that you guys should react too. For example a religious song that is Lauren Daigle cover You say. Also her other 5 songs from here EP.
That black-and-white video sounds an awful lot like "I Put a Spell on You", but you've already reacted to that (it was your second AJ reaction). So instead, you might consider doing one of her most subtle early performances, "What a Difference a Day Makes", which she performed live on a TV show called _Allsang på Grensen_ [Sing-Along at the Border] about 5 weeks after winning _Norway's Got Talent_ at age 8. (To clarify: It was not broadcast live, but was recorded live and broadcast the next day. We have raw footage of the performance captured from the audience by her grandmother, which "proves" that what was broadcast was exactly what the crowd heard in the venue. Anyway…) It's about as far from "I Put a Spell on You" as you can get.😁

Neither Adele nor Angelina has "an amazing vocal range". Both are close to 3 octaves, which is considered "good". Mariah's 5 octave range is impressive.
Angelina has a 5 octive range as well. Her cover of How Great Thou Art is really Low same key as Elvis...
@@charlesallison146 I think Angelina gets down to either a C3 or D3 in HGTA. A 5 octave range would have her singing as high as D8. Please tell me of ANY song she performs where she has reached a D7, or even a D6 for that matter.
Angelina really has a lot of talent and vocal control and I tried to enjoy her music, but her voice is just too irritating for me. No offense, but the raspy, gravelly quality I find annoying.
If you guys think she's perfection can you need to have your ears cleaned out
She needs to enunciate her words more
Perfect imperfections is why we love Angelina . Her roots are in jazz , we don't want her to have crystal clear vocals . There's plenty who do that , but to me they are white bread .
A female Michael Buble, she'll be known for great vocals but not hits.
