For a minute I thought you were going to give up the EC planner and I was screaming inside :) Glad to see there are other options out there at an affordable price.
Haha! Honestly if the EC designs this year don't speak to me (which is possible since they seem to be moving towards designs geared towards super young women), this is definitely an option🤣
I agree! I have been using that purple floral one for a while as my purse notebook and compared to the fancy brands of similar notebooks, it's the same quality. I wish they had different design options or solids, but for $3 I'm not complaining! And I guess that's what stickers are for lol.
I am using a hobinichi weeks techno this year, first time and I absolutely love it! I use it for personal- n journal. It’s compact to throw in my purse n take everywhere 😊 I really love the paper too. I am using a separate spread for budgeting. ❤😊
I think that’s a great layout but I use your drawn out format in my EC daily - the note page they included this year - so I do gravitate towards this style. I don’t like printer paper quality planners but I think for people trying to figure out their planning style it’s a good place to start because of the price point. I wish I had thought of that because I went the expensive route.
I'm so happy it works for you! The DD is how this whole thing started (I did it on my Sunday page before the extra page was a thing). Surpisingly, even though I love EC quality paper, I find I don't mind the printer paper quality at all. I think it's because I don't mind ghosting . And I actually love the texture that comes from the crinkling and from pushing down too hard with my pen. I think I just love paper haha
I'm so happy I'm not on TH-cam with planner content. I'd rather be free to use whatever works best for me regardless of brand loyalty or trendiness. Fads are anathema to me. I've got this workstyle planner and just love it, but I ended up with a Blue Sky with the same basic layout and a huge notes section in back, and that's my preferred planner this year. I feel like I finally have enough notes pages!!! Edited to add: A page count for notes is 100 pages/50 sheets.
@@KristanKremer the hobonichi weeks was the only planner i ever used from start to finish. in the past i would sticker it up but now im doing pen, highlighter n maybe a few headings. i find it to be a very functional planner. the weeks have enough structure to get you thru the week with enough pages so you can customize them as you like..
Every time PP has a sale I build one of those, put it in my cart, and talk myself out of it because I never need a new planner 🤣 It's on my list as a backup plan or "someday".
Sorry but the filming of the flip through was horrible gor me. It was too far away and washed out by the light. I even asked my daughter to see if it was just me but it wasn't.
I think my ADD is why I did the same thing. I finally decided this year would be different. I use a composition book for each month. I decorate the covers for whichever holiday month or season it is. I glue in a desk calendar page for that month (I fold it to fit inside the book when it's closed. It gives me the chance to try a different layout every month, if I try one and find it doesn't work for me. Before I invest in another expensive planner, I'll keep doing this to determine what works best for me. I may just end up continuing to do this.
Good review! Thank you!
Glad it was helpful! Thank you for watching Nikki 😊

Love the budget planner too!
It was so cute!
I would recommend the Pen and Gear notebooks/Journals etc. They have taken everything I have thrown at them (except alcohol markers).

This layout is so good!
I really love it!
Feels like you made the planner! Haha Great planner!
Haha seriously!
I had seen this not long ago and was very surprised that this layout was in a store somewhere. Glad you’re making use of it for content/work!
I wish I would have seen it earlier!

That is awesome! Sounds perfect.

I love BlueSky! I didn't know they made this layout. I'll have to look for it.
Nice to show options that don’t cost much.
I agree! I'm thinking of adding more videos like this. Would you watch?
You just gotta create your own planner! Lol
Do not tempt me please 🤣
This also comes in 8.5x11 if someone wants a nice desk planner. I changed sizes and planner style this year, or its what I would be using.
Good to know! Thank you.
i love the cambridge! unfortunately i opted for a hobonichi weeks mega for all the additional note pages.
How are you liking it? I'm tempted by Hobo Weeks every single year but I just don't want to switch pens haha

I like blue sky planners because they don’t have lines. The lines stress me out. 😅
Haha I can understand that! Sometimes the lines make me think I have to fill them all up!
Put this in a 7x9 size and I’ll take it!
Yes that would be amazing!
@kristan Have you ever tried the plum paper ‘notes & days’ layout??

Thanks for the feedback. I'll add close up shots next time!
IS there a such thing as planner piece with ADHD??? Or is ADHD the reason that I fluctuate between planners??? The world may never know. 😂
😂😂 that's a great question!
